We stayed here as a stop over on our return journey to the UK. The chateau and location is absolutely stunning. Welcome extremely good and staff very helpful. We had a panoramic room which was very spacious and had lots of original features. However, there were no hand towels, only bath towels and very limited lighting. There was a light over the door, two small reading lamps for the bed and a small downlight over the sink in the bathroom. Access to the room was interesting via a spiral staircase! Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, well cooked and well presented wth a good wine selection. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was clear from the room that only two rooms were occupied as only two tables were laid. Service was excellent but the coffee was a bit disappointing, there was no milk for cereal (although we didn't want any), no water in the boiler for cooking boiled eggs and only one type of jam (albeit lots of it!). There was a good selection of breads ham and cheese though along with a choice of fruit juices.
