The owners were incredibly friendly and went to extraordinary lengths to ensure we were able to get food as the whole village was closed. They found a restaurant in a village 6 miles away and drove/collected all seven of us. Great breakfast lovely spot.

Every summer for fifteen years in a row we come as a family for vacations at the Hotel Cafe Steni: hospitality, kindness, coziness, clean rooms, fresh air, thermal water and reasonable prices are some of the priceless gifts we enjoy in this simple, spare and at the same time elegant hotel in the foothills of Mount Dirfys. The atmosphere of warmth and cordiality created by the owners of the hotel, the Gerakini-Pappa family, is due to the close relationship we have developed over the years both with them and with the people of the village. Steni: for our children it is their "village", for us it is a haven of relaxation, rest and inner regrouping. A paradise on earth a short distance from Athens, ideal to visit at any time of the year! Very Nice Pleasantly surprised by the room, it was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. The courtyard in the front is shady and well taken care of.

The room was very small for a triple, there was no soundproofing at all to a level where you could hear conversations from the adjacent rooms. In our room, moreover, the heating stopped at some point early in the evening and did not turn on again. In the breakfast area, which also functions as a cafe, there is no check for Covid certificates, nor are the measures for catering (double mask of employees, distances) observed. At breakfast they did not inform about the extra charge for coffee, nor was there a price list, nor was French offered for free as usual, or at least they did not inform us about it. I wouldn't recommend it.
