”We're from Thailand, and this hotel is superb! The rooms are clean, warm, and cozy, with floor and bedroom heating—perfect for the cold weather. The toilet even has an auto bidet (very important for us Thais!). Though the hotel is on high ground and the stairs might make you a bit tired, the effort is totally worth it. The owner is incredibly kind, offering unlimited drinking water and fresh fruit. The rooftop has the best view—beautiful scenery where you can relax and enjoy the moment. We had an amazing stay at Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La, Yunnan. From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive, keeping in touch with us for three weeks before our trip. They provided useful tips, such as bringing heavy clothes due to the cold and snow, which helped us a lot in preparing for our visit. One of the best things about this homestay was the hospitality. The host picked us up and dropped us off at the train station for free of charge, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. They also went the extra mile by lending us winter jackets at no cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, they arranged a driver for us to visit the places we wanted to explore, making our trip smooth and enjoyable. The homestay itself was fantastic—spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures, and equipped with complete amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the hot blankets and oxygen supply, which were essential due to Shangri-La’s high altitude. The homestay also had a modern design while being located in the heart of the ancient town, offering easy access to everything. Beyond the comfortable stay, the host’s kindness and guidance made our experience even better. They recommended great places to visit and local restaurants to try, ensuring we had a memorable trip. The best homestay on this trip to Yunnan, with a great location at the gate of Dukezong Ancient City, and its own parking lot, it is very convenient to drive by yourself, the facilities in the room are great, and the floor heating oxygen humidifier is fully equipped. However, I said it is the best homestay on my trip to Yunnan mainly because of the details, 1. There are two pillows, one soft and one hard 2. In addition to disposable slippers, there are also bath slippers, the key is that they are disinfected 3. There are regular bath towels and disposable bath towels for you to choose freely

- They provided a free pickup/drop-off service to and from the Shangrila train station contacted them via wechat - My room had a stale, smoky smell, which was a bit disappointing. - The hotel is located near Dukezong Ancient City, making it very walkable. - The heated floor was very helpful during the cold winter. - The room was clean, but I didn’t like the cigarette smell. - There was no air conditioning or fan in the room

This is a terrific hotel I had ever stayed. I would give the hotel 10 (if the highest score is 5) ^_^ The location is the best. Only 200m to walk to Tapho temple& Dukezhong ancient town. Very convenience to find food and also Didi. The service is  the best! The owners are very friendly, kinds and full of service mind, provide good information no matter what we ask for ie suggest the good restaurants, provided day tour information and so on. The owners allowed us to check in early. In addition, she upgraded the room for us to the premium one where we could  see Tapho temple by the window. We stayed 3 nights(Jan,25) and not only the owner picked up us at the train station, she also offered us a ride to the train station when we left… very impressed! All amenities are perfect  ie..O2 generator,   humidifier machine, washing machine (inside our room) and so on. The heater was so warm as there is electricity blanquette, floor heater beside the normal heater one. We are very comfortable during stay here. I would definitely stay here again for next trip and will recommend friends for this super perfect hotel :)

The hotel provides excellent services. The best hotel to stay in shangrila. The location is very strategic near the supermarket and other food stalls. If you are a muslim, this hotel is very close to the halal food stall. The hotel provides pick-up and drop off at the railway station. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. It also provides extra oxygen in the room. If you come to shangrila, book this hotel straightaway. You will not regret it. You can communicate with the hotel if you want to go to the balagezong.

The boss was very nice. He called us early to ask about our arrival time, turned on the floor heating in advance, and upgraded the room type. He was very enthusiastic, responded to messages very quickly, and responded to every request. The fruit was very sweet, the room was very clean, most of the daily necessities were disposable, clean and hygienic, and the hot water came out very quickly. It was my first time here, and I felt that it was more convenient to live in the ancient city. I could go around. The room was in a good location. Whether I drove or took a taxi, I could get to the store door, and it was not far to take the bus. Although it was not noisy at night in the ancient city, the sound insulation was very good. I was particularly surprised that the floor heating in the room could make the bed warm, which was very comfortable.
