Overall, this is really your best choice in Dipolog. All the staff are extremely friendly. The air conditioning and WiFi in the room were solid, and the bed was terrific! The negative in the room is the lighting. It’s super dim, which does not give a cheerful atmosphere and also makes it hard to read. Just replace with brighter lights, and it would be great. The breakfast was adequate, but lacking. Some fruit, and a pastry or croissant would really help. Getting a ride to the airport was very nice. It’s only 6-7 minutes away. But this is critical: when you arrive at Dipolog Airport, there are only motorbikes and trikes- no taxis. So if you are more than 1 person and / or have more than one suitcase, you absolutely must arrange for transportation in advance.

Great Hotel Good Service
Very good nice Hotel direct in the city center from Dipolog city. Good bar friendly Service crew. Only the western Breakfast is very small. We will stay again its a nice Hotel .

D’Hotel is hands down my favorite establishment to stay at when I visit Dipolog City…(see my prior posts going back to 2017). The rooms are nice, the restaurant is exceptional but as always, I always judge and summarize my experience by how ‘I feel’ and that can only be influenced by the amazing, courteous and professional staff! The character and demeanor of the staff at D’Hotel rivals the level of five star international hotels! You can’t go wrong by selecting D’Hotel! ❤️

Sign on refrigerator says complimentary water, drink on us. My wife, daughter I drank the water (5 bottles) and was told at Check Out that the water in the fridge is 60 pesos per.. had to buy those “free” waters. TV didn’t work, remote was taped. They should double check these rooms for readiness, clients don’t have time to be calling the front desk all night. The front desk had no idea on that restaurant hours of operation. Said that they’re open until 11, when in fact they close at 9. Educate the staff. Showers water was barely warm at best, not nearly hot enough. Not sure if I’ll be back, may try Arianna instead.

It seems like the Hotel is not properly maintained. The air conditioner is dripping water and it is located above the bed. It rained hard during the night/early morning and there’s a leak by the lobby coming from the roof and when we reported the problem, they put folded towel to soak up the water leak. It looks like the problem existed because there’s rust by the ceiling light housing. The elevator have a sign that it’s under maintenance but no one is working and it’s been broken for more than a week.
