This hotel has extra ordinary spa. Salt water pool with jets, and it extends to the outside where you can enjoy the view. Oh amazing. Spacious steam room and Sauna. Clean fascilities, and I can easily stay for hours in the pool. Service is excellent, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast menu is varied, lots to choose from. Room is spacious to my standard, and they have microwave, spare plates and cutlery, also sink to wash dirty plates. The parking area is like a garden intertwinned with trees. So beautiful. It is my kind of hotel. I am looking forward to going back to Bretagne and staying at this hotel. Superb!

We spent a week in Novotel Thalassa Dinard. The spa experience was quite pleasant, the hotel very comfortable, the room with a sea view quite nice. The breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing : no vegetables, no fish... but oysters galore (unfortunately, my tastebuds regard breakfast as a tad too early for oysters...). For people staying on a half board basis (the right option, considering that the hotel is a bit far away from downtown restaurants), they can choose from a choice of nicely cooked dishes.

The staff can’t handle the normal functions of a hotel. Fire alarms ring, the rooms are sterile like an Ibis, the bar is quickly overwhelmed and the restaurant doesn’t know how to serve. It’s as if they found unemployed people off the street and asked them to help them run a hotel. The gym was out of service so if you didn’t have a spa treatment there was only so many hours in a he pool you could spend. Speaking of which the hot tub/Aqua therapy was underwhelming. It’s a shame because the views are stellar and the restaurant design is very attractive and modern. Clearly not enough staff and experienced staff to merit the high prices.

We stayed one night in the hotel ( 2 adults 2 children) as a stop on our way to our final holiday destination and had an amazing time. We had 2 connecting superior rooms. The rooms were big, and really well equipped. The beach is just next to the hotel which was ideal with the children. ( have your own buckets and spade with you though as no shops on the beach to buy any) There is also a creperie right on the beach which does delicious crepes.The breakfast in the hotel was also amazing,and restaurants and bars have seaviews so are very enjoyable.Our chlidren were given toys when eating at the restaurant which they really enjoyed.

Book Spa treatments well in advance to save dissapointment. Decent location with a twenty minute walk to Dinard town centre.
