First impressions are most important, and the reception staff at this hotel were warmly welcoming, professional and extremely helpful. They offered much welcomed information on the free bus service running up to the walled city of Dinan, and helped to orient us to the area. Our room was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome with a wide variety of all food groups. Although the hotel does not provide lunch and dinner service, it is within close walking distance to numerous good restaurants. On a rainy day, when the complimentary hotel umbrellas had been loaned out, one of the receptionists loaned us her own umbrella. Definitely beyond the call of duty! We would definitely return!

This is a very nice hotel on the bank of the river. The rooms are a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff were welcoming and spoke English quite well. Breakfast was a buffet that was tailored to all nationalities and the scrambled eggs were especially good. We also enjoyed using the outdoor pool. A lovely place to spend a day or three, with loads of restaurants on the other bank of the river, a walk of about 200 metres.
