Timor Plaza Hotel & Apartments

The hotel location was less than 10 minute from airport. The room was spacious, comfort and clean. In Friday evening there was live music at the restaurant. They performed nicely. The breakfast was international standard and the taste was good enough. Overall service was also good. The swimming pool located at the differenet building. It was at CBD 8, around 300 m from the hotel. In Saturday evening there was night market in front of the hotel which sell many food and drinks, and there was live band as well. Many restaurants, bar, shops and others located near the hotel.

The hotel is part of a shopping complex, with many shops, including supermarkets, nearby. Car rentals are close by as well. Inside, the hotel is a very large property and appears to have many rooms. The reception at is quite large, with many tables and a few sofas. The breakfast room is quite large and they were accommodating of gluten free diets. We stayed in a junior suite. This is a large room, with a double bed (a bit on the soft side) and a sofa bed in a separate small living room. The bathroom was a good size too. There must be a water heating tank for each room, so if you like long showers or there are several people taking showers sequentially, you may run out of hot water and need to wait a little for the water to warm up again. Location is great if you’re doing day trips out of Dili or have a car, but far from the centre if you don’t. You would then be dependent on getting a taxi and the blue ones are the ones to go for (but you need to call them, rather than flag them down on the street). Overall it was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and polite. They provide a free transfer to and from the airport. Would certainly stay again and recommend.

I highly recommend this place. I will stay here again when I visit Timor Leste next time. The staff are very helpful and friendly. My room was clean and spacious - bed was very comfortable. The Panorama Restaurant is perfect venue for meetings.

Location is Good. Staffs was Polite. Front desk Staff's affectively. Room area quite Big. Only Shower provided Hot water! (no good) Wall's power socket is International standard. Hotel lifts need to change. WIFI is goods. Only money changing for Australia dollars, must also do it for Major currency.
