Hotel Zerbinetta

We were there a few days ago. Very nice and well-kept rural hotel. Normal breakfast (fruit, bread, sausages, milk, juice and butter and jam) but sufficient. Very good and abundant dinner. Delicious desserts. Very friendly and helpful staff. To make a point, the Wi-Fi did not reach the room. Hotel to repeat!

The Latino was right: “You still have time.” We are in the middle of summer, and Granada's asphalt residents look for a respite from the heat in the late afternoon. 15 minutes from the capital there is a place that only the privileged people who have known the place through word of mouth can enjoy, because it is the most reliable way to find the terrace of the Zerbinetta Hotel in Dilar. The devotee can make a prior visit to the Virgen de las Nieves, patron saint of Dilar and Sierra Nevada, whose hermitage is a stone's throw away. Another surprise of the hotel is the large parking lot that welcomes visitors. A slight downhill slope leads to a refreshing irrigation ditch and a splendid, cool terrace in the late afternoon, partially covered by centuries-old oaks that give the place a special touch. And let's go to the beers; ideal temperature, but the 0/0 tap is missing. The summer red wine, well served with the touch of a slice of lemon, which is unusual. The meatballs on the tapa could really be improved. The letter too long for our taste. Preferably shorter and more attractive. When in doubt, we opted for the grill: a beef steak for two retirees was enough. Perhaps the juiciest garnish than the meat itself, a little overcooked. If the account is within reason, it can be ensured that the visit is positive. These dog days one goes looking for good temperature and tranquility. I reserve a table for my parents and some friends (4 people aged 80). I asked them in the reservation for a nice table and a cooler area (by phone). When they arrive at the hotel, they are put at a ridiculous table for 4, where not even the platter of the first course they order fits and in an area with a porch where it is less cool... They tell the waiter (just the size of the table) how comment and always give it correctly and tell them that if they don't like it, they should leave (THIS HAS BEEN REPEATED ON TWO OCCASIONS)... he has delayed the dishes and they have had to wait between each other something out of the ordinary and with bad anyway...THE WAITER IS THE OLDEST ONE WHO WAS ON THE TERRACE THAT NIGHT.. When my parents told me this, I was outraged, because once they decide to go out after this hard time, they have to find the most unpresentable person in the place... YOU CANNOT TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS and you can respond in many ways, but never with that little respect and annoying them at the exit.

We arrived at the reserved time at 2:30 p.m. and ordered the drinks and tapas. After the second drink, we ordered the food at 3:10 p.m. and they told us that we couldn't eat because the kitchen was paralyzed and that it would take more than half an hour to pass the note to the kitchen. . Then we told them what the reservation was for if they didn't assure us of being able to eat. They gave us a second drink. They said at 3:35 p.m. that they had made an effort to place the order in the kitchen and that there were 9 orders before... that they would serve us as soon as possible but that it was difficult. In short, because with a reservation they tell you that they cannot serve you. ..Not eating it is incredible
