The resort is not at all consistent with the photos. It is very poorly maintained. Several villas are abandoned. The equipment is outdated. Breakfast is shabby. We had booked 3 days and left after the 1st day. No refund granted by the hotel

Great resort. Surrounding by lots of Coconut trees with authentic villas. Staffs are very friendly and the owners are lovely. Quick place. We visited several time and we were never disappointed. Best quality price report. Absolutely recommended

Do not book this hotel. Bookings.com should remove it as it is derelict, unsafe and not as per the advertising. There are no staff, buildings are mostly derelict, only a couple of rooms are open, no bar, no other facilities, we were unable to find a receptionist for approximately 30 mins- we think a local person was woken when we arrived. I was electrocuted in the outdoor shower. In the rooms that were open, Air-conditioning only worked in a 2 out of four bedrooms, fridge did not work, no maintenance had been done for some time. Wood rotting around pool area. It seems local people were living within the resort area in shanty houses. The staff did not seem surprised when we told them we were leaving and found alternate accommodation. This was extremely disappointing but most of all unsafe for our children.

This is a weird place to review as the resort is quite rundown and I think we were the only people staying here. However our room was fantastic and the staff were helpful and super friendly. The photos of the surrounds should be ignored as they do not reflect how the resort looks now. Breakfast was fantastic with a reasonable cold buffet with the cook happy to do eggs or a Vietnamese soup. Our room had its own pool but we also had the main two pools to ourselves. Right on the beach to walk to beach cafes. So fair warning, if you’re a resilient traveller and like quiet and empty beaches you will love this place if you come with an open mind. If you’re a little bit special and want a place where everything is done for you then find somewhere else.

We booked this property based on the beautiful photos and the photos were clearly old or misrepresented. Whilst the staff were kind enough to upgrade our booking, the. 'Private pool' was greenn / orange. The main pools were all calsified and my kids and husand all sustained minor abrasions from these, the equipment was all well past broken and damaged and dangerous and no other guests were staying at this place. Whilst with some TLC this place has amazing potential, for family's, in it's current state, I would say this s downright dangerous which was very disappointing.

Very unhappy, Very old and run down, like a ghost town. Bar was not cleaned or filled even though it was new year eve. Another couple arrived and left straight away ( they were at the same hotel we went too) We checked in and than ended up booking another hotel. Certainly isn’t a four star accomdation.

the price dont meet with standars. the resort is no staff aroud. our family check in at 04:00pm on 17 August 2022. there is a staff not wearing the resort unifirm. she covered her with a hat and the mask look like the Vietnamese lady who ready to ride the motobike under the sun. In the room very poor amenatiy, white towels turning black, under the bedsheet many tiny black dusts. we booked 02 bed rrooms with 1 extra bed but they setting up only for 2 people on the room with extra bed. one room is no slippers, AC does not work properly calling to fix many times., TV without operation. At the mid night the power off for 3 hours we wont able sleep and the management did not saying anything about that when we checked out and telling them about the power.. staff is lack of information about the customers. by the time checking out we were complaining about the facility of the resort on staff he just walking in said my family have extra person but wont inform the resort. i was so mad about this as we paid for extra bed but he did not know and insursed us like this. at the beach no safety guard, no towel nothing just have some beach chair. i wont recommend anyone stay here and never be back. also very poor enviroment and facility. its not the same as tthe resort website.

Run down and dirty. Poorly maintained everything is broken and not working. Beach littered with rubbish. Upon arrival we decided not to stay due to safety concerns. Now hotel will not refund or communicate with us at all. Poor treatment of tourists. If they want to get their resort back to good hotel they need to be respectful of guests. Be warned if you stay here you will be dissatisfied. Claims to be 4 star but lucky to be 2star at present. I understand it’s been hard since coronavirus but don’t mislead guests on the condition of the property. Exposed wires, broken floors, tv not working, refrigerator not working, telephone not working. Not cleaned well. Everything rusty. Pool dirty. Really poor condition overall. Despite several emails and calls the manager will not reply.

Hotel facilities runs down badly (presumably over Covid) but minimal work put in to reopening to a reasonable standard. Lawns half dead, gardens dirty, recreation equipment dirty and dilapidated (table tennis, pool etc), pools looks dirty with lots of leaves, literally zero staff at pool bar or restaurant (away from breakfast), no music, no guests so no atmosphere. We battled our way to get a drink and bowl of chips from pool bar our first afternoon - took an hour from staff who were trying best but had no training or English. And because 2.5km from Am Bang beach are basically trapped there. We were looking for a relaxing resort to chill out in midway in our 2 week sightseeing trip through Vietnam. We ended up sleeping there but relaxing at various beachside restaurants in Am Bang beach where there was more atmosphere than the ghost town. On the positive side rooms were large and well cleaned and the aircon worked well so the room was comfortable. And the staff tried hard. Only two had English to a workable standard. But given the isolated location and how far out of Hoi An, I was expecting well maintained grounds and a resort atmosphere. So instead we had the cost and inconvenience (at times could take 20+ minutes for taxi/Geab I suspect due to property’s remote location) of taxis to go somewhere less depressing. It seems they are trying to get tourist $$ in to fund the restoration of the property (rather than investing upfront). This is dishonest, and seems like it is not working as we saw 1-3 other guest groups per day in a 100+ room resort - they may well be in a terminal spiral down. I have never been to a resort like this with so few staff, so few guests and so poorly maintained (labour is usually cheap enough that gardens and facilities are spotless). SO DISAPPOINTED - please learn from our experience (until genuine reviews get better, which feels like will be months away).
