It's right inside the village, next to the village committee, and Chairman Mao's former residence is also located there. The environment is acceptable.
The drawbacks are quite significant. First, there was no running water when I arrived. Second, there's no air conditioning. The windows don't have screens, so the drafty airflow allowed in a lot of bugs.
Third, the house is made of wood, so the soundproofing is very poor. I could clearly hear the neighbors next door...
