We stayed 6 nights at Makao Hotel. Anderson and the entire team made us very welcome from arrival to departure. The sounds of the sea crashing on the beach is amazing and lovely to help you fall asleep and to wake up to. Anderson sorted is out taxi on departure , a guide to take us river tubing and tips for local restaurants. There is no air con in the upstairs rooms but you don’t need it the breeze flows through so it keeps cool enough. And we weren’t bothered by insects.

We truly enjoyed the exceptional hospitality of the Team, they all introduced themselves personally and cared very well for us. Also the hotel has nice beach chairs and showers, facilities we have not seen in places nearby. Also the way they protect the beach from the rough currents & waves is nice. Food was great, too, as well as the happy hour 😎

We had dinner at Makao Beach Hotel and were lucky to get a fresh lobster that tasted delicious and at a very fair price. The service was great too. If you want to enjoy a nice and romantic dinner other than the typical pizza and burger in Palomino, this is the perfect place.

This is a small and very nice hotel right at the beach. The staff is so friendly and make you feel so welcome. We had the king ocean front. The view is amazing and the breeze in the room lovely. Enjoyed the minibar in the room. The sun beds are situated right on the beach at no extra charge. They also have surf lessons next door.

No recomendaría este lugar (NO es un Hotel). Sencillamente, no es lo que parece por las fotos subidas. Servicios pésimos en general. El precio exageradamente caro, para lo que ofrecen. Lo único que me llevé fué la Amabilidad del Colombiano.

Superbe accueil, les gens a l’écoute de toutes nos demandes, laverie, test covid, taxi. Restauration excellente avec des plats variés de poisson ou viande et des cocktails variés et bien réalisé Bord de mer avec vue au top Les chambres ont la clim et sont confortables

Super cadre au bord de l’eau dans cette ville chill et très agréable. Mention spéciale pour le staff qui est extrêmement arrangeant, pour les activités sur place et les transports pour quitter palomino notamment. Un plaisir d’être autant aidé par des locaux. Souriants et très compétents. On a passé un moment très agréable.

Muy buenas instalaciones, el personal muy amable pero sobretodo si la intención de su viaje es tomarse unos buenos cócteles a la orilla del mar y comer delicioso, este es el lugar para usted. Si bien no hay piscina y en la época del año que fuimos la playa estaba erosionada por la entrada del mar la calidad de la cocina y mixología lo compensaron completamente. Volvería gustosamente.
