HM Resort, Dibrugarh

A very much open and neat hotel. In fact, the creator must be credited for all over management of maintaining the property, where you are bound to fall in love the moment you walk in. Came to know about the publicity shy humane quality of tje creators. May almighty bless them more.

We stayed and had a get-together with friends and families at this resort. Located on the bank of river Brahmaputra in the tea city of Dibrugarh, the ambience of the resort was found to be full of peace and oxygen. The facilities, food and services were awesome.

My wife and I visited Dibrugarh recently. We intended to stay in one of the famous heritage Chang bungalows, but we could not get a booking there since it was the middle of the tourist season. Ultimately, we decided to stay in HM Resort, which had few but highly favourable reviews on various websites. The property is centrally located and relatively new. The reception counter and most of the guest rooms are in the multistoried building near the entrance gate. The next building houses a large banquet hall. There is a landscaped garden beyond that, dotted with cottage suites, restaurants and the bar. A new block is under construction, which will substantially increase the number of guest rooms. We were warmly welcomed by Sangita Rai, the elegant young lady at the reception counter. She was very helpful and later she personally escorted us to the Piano Room for dinner. Sangita was ably assisted by Allauddin Ahmed, a courteous and energetic young ***. Our room was on the first floor. It was clean, spacious and well-furnished. The décor was modern and minimalistic, with abstract paintings on the walls. The bathroom was large and well lighted. Facilities were provided for making tea. In the Piano Room we were served by Rakesh Yadav, who took our orders with much courtesy and gave us some helpful suggestions. The food as well as the ambience turned out to be excellent. We observed that the restaurant and bar attracted locals as well as tourists. The next morning, we went to the adjacent hall where buffet breakfast was served. The options were rather limited, but once again Rakesh helped us in selecting from them. He also arranged a packed lunch, since we were departing shortly after noon. On the whole, we had a very comfortable stay, with excellent service. The room tariffs and restaurant prices were quite reasonable. An excellent choice for Dibrugarh!

We stayed there for 1 night. Very nice and spacious rooms. Good restaurant and good food. On the bank of Brahmaputra. One can go and walk near the river. It is more beautiful and grand in reality than photos. Preferred for a relaxed stay. There are open spaces, sitting areas and gardens.

Nice and warm experience... yammy food clean and tidy room... room service quick and front desk gentle and always ready to serve you ❤️. Location mind blowing.In city like Dibrugarh a unique place to visit.onecan visit this place with family and friends... overall loving it 💯

It’s a beautiful resort / hotel and looks like something you’d see in Europe or the US. I was taken there for lunch and we sat in a beautiful private room. All the food was fantastic and so was the service. Strangely, when I initially searched for hotels in Dibrugarh, the HM Resort didn’t come up. It should be in the one of the top 2 places.
