Hotel Delle Mimose

Have just returned from a Leger holiday staying at the Delle Mimosa on an all inclusive package. Was not feeling 100% otherwise would have probably really enjoyed the free bar but there was wine on the table each night so enjoyed plenty of that! Nice large room, a balcony with a view of the hills and some orange and olive trees and loads of hangers in the wardrobe. One negative was the rather narrow shower unit but I managed somehow. The food was delicious and a nice big spread at breakfast. On NYE there was a gut busting gala dinner. I am a big foodie but it was even too much for me to manage. Took a nice leisurely walk down to the beach on New Year’s Day - about 15 minutes from the hotel - walked along the promenade, had a cup of coffee and then walked back for lunch at the hotel. That night there was a hilarious game of bingo. Not too sure the Italians who joined in quite got it but a good time was had by all. There was a quiz on the last night but I gave that one a miss as we had an early start back to France the following day and I had the last bit of packing to finish. Would definitely stay at the hotel again if travelling independently or as part of a holiday and will recommend it highly to my friends and family.

The staff were friendly and efficient and we were made very welcome. The room was a little small but pleasant. The hotel was within 10 minutes walk of the sea. Diano Marina is a very nice, if quiet town. Sadly we had very bad weather during our stay but this was not something that the hotel could do anything about.

We spent a lovely time at this hotel made friends and the food was great the drinks was free yes I did say free and so was the Wi-Fi we spent most evenings getting to know people who was also staying there in the room was a tv and fridge plus a balcony we sat on watching the world go by in fact it was so nice we plan to go back next year at the same time the weather was round about 18-20+ so was lovely not to hot or cold and there's air con in the bedroom

The hotel is clean, and welcoming, the staff are mostly brilliant, I only found a couple of men to be less than friendly and helpful, the rest couldn’t do enough for you. Because of various delays we arrived for our evening meals after 22:30 on two occasions to find the staff serving us three courses, very cheerful and helpful. The room was spacious, bed and pillows very comfortable, a nice balcony, but the shower cubicle was tiny. Kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was lovely. As a vegetarian who likes a lot of fruit, they provided plenty of fresh fruit salad, other fruits like melon, pineapple, etc and pots of yogurt. My friend was disappointed with the cooked breakfast but everyone else seemed to enjoy it. The packed lunches were sandwiches in lovely fresh bread rolls. For me, for three days, it was cheese and lettuce, the fourth day I only got lettuce and tomato (no butter, no cheese) and I had stated no tomato as I cannot eat them as much as I love them. After that I didn’t order a packed lunch. The sandwich was accompanied by a pre-packed biscuit like cake, crisps and a piece of fruit. The evening meals, unfortunately, for a vegetarian, let them down badly. I was offered eggs every evening, when I complained they gave me a plate of slices of courgette and aubergine. Luckily there was a salad bar. Meat eaters mostly enjoyed their meals I believe. Their desserts were lovely. Entertainment was provided on three evenings, a quiz, bingo (I didn’t participate) and a man playing a guitar and singing. The two I participated in were fun.

Excellent stay in the Delle Mimosa. Good service, very pleasant staff, clean rooms, good food. Would definitely recommend
