Used to be a good resort but not anymore. It’s now old and rickety. Staff are kinda rude. Service is medium. And the rooms are old and dirty.

Nice hotel. Great food choices. Staff was helpful and had great customer service. Night time entertainment was very enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in having a good time.

We were given a lower grade room than we had paid for and he’d to move twice before we got the correct one . They were aware this had happened but did not tell us until we complained. Food is good , however if you do not like Indian cuisine your choices will be limited. Wine on the all inclusive is poor. staff are brilliant , management not so much . Annoying that you cannot go for a walk on the beach without getting swamped by beach sellers.

Diane beach is a gem. The locals are extremely friendly. The pool is large and very accommodating, always clean as well. Buffet was good, the menu changes daily. Very friendly staff, fun night time entertainment. Snorkeling in the open beach was my highlight 🏝🌴

Wonderful hotel - great location and also the facilities are great.
The only issue is when the hotel is full - there are insufficient Beach towels. it doesn't help that most people take more than expected ie 3/4 more per person rather than one per person. We had to wait the whole day to get a clean towel. ( speaking to other guests - they collected their towels @ 7.30am or the night before...) . Would recommend that management bring in a CARD system for beach towels so that everyone has an equal allocation( when it is not full you can revert to the current system. )
Guest relations ( Marcia) is amazing and recommend speaking to her about anything local. She can advise you and help whenever possible.
the biggest positive is the FOOD - it was amazing and the freshest of the cooking was visibly seen.
the bar was quick to respond to drinks orders. the only issue is the amount of paperwork they need as most guests are on All- inclusive yet it was requested that the room number be given every time you ordered a drink. Perhaps management can review this? let the staff see the BANDS to decide which needs food orders or not

Beautiful complex, wonderful pool area, easy to use even for swimmers, very nice beach. Good buffet breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant, choice of dinner as a barbecue or Italian dinner elsewhere. Drinks not included in the booking price! Top room service. What wasn't so nice: for a day's stay with food and drink for a local child, who we gave a great day here, we were charged 3,250 KSH. The price-performance ratio is not right at all! A non-guest (including children) cannot stay even on the beach in front of the hotel and only for a payment of 3,250 KSH. That is simply too much.

Pros: nice beach
shortcoming:
1. Noisy, very noisy! ! ! The hotel didn't remind us when we checked in that there was a party in the evening during our check-in time. The DJ screamed so loudly in the middle of the night that our hearts ached. We measured the decibel level and it was already at the noise level. We contacted the hotel several times to change rooms but got no response. Finally, they sent a waiter. I was told that I could change rooms, but when I went there it was still very noisy, so I had to endure it until the party was over. It was only eight o'clock the next day, and there was the noise of an Indian wedding again! ! !
2. The service is very poor. Because it was too noisy on the first night and I didn't get a good rest, I had a fever the next day and asked the hotel to find a thermometer, or send someone to buy one for us to pay for. The hotel curtly responded that they could look for it, but they didn't inform us whether they had a thermometer until we checked out. , and other services also responded very slowly.
3. The food is not good. The hotel buffet is basically Indian food, various curries and purees, which are very salty. I don’t know if it’s because more than half of the hotel guests are Indians.
4. The room facilities are old, the bedding is old, and it doesn’t look very clean.

Great place to stay. I liked the food and the staff, very friendly. However, the local vendors can be a little aggressive and intimidating. They had events nightly on the resort so really no need to leave resort. Ran into some minor issue with Wi-Fi and room selections. Overall I would definitely return, minus the bees and flies.
