Everything was great with this hotel, from the view to the service. The beach is very beautiful and clean. There are quite a few of beach boys on the beach waiting to sell things to you. However if you tell them politely you’re not interested, they’ll leave you alone.
It’s very close to Ukunda airport, only 10min drive.
One major thing this resort needs to improve is the foods. The foods are no where close to a 5 star resort standard. They’re normal than normal. Limited varieties. This was the most disappointing part. However because of the superb view and services, I was able to enjoy the trip! Will definitely go back and hope the foods are good by then.

The room is very good, and the buffet is also delicious. You can see the sea at the door,
Lying on the sofa outside the house, you can feed the monkeys. Every day when you wake up, you can go to the beach for a walk, catch the sea, very happy, and will come again next time!

Amazing resort, we loved the whole experience. They serve the best food, they have an amazing gym and their spa is just perfect. We have tried the massage ( stress relief massage) and it was great. The room was so spacious and the staff is very welcoming and very helpful. We definitely will come back :)

The coctails and the swimming pool and the room was amazing ,the mtv show was good with the duncing skills of the amazing star the one and the only shikuku, the food was good the hotel is very clean i liked to see the monkies and the stuf was frandly

The rooms are beautiful and super clean, shout out to my cleaner gimtone. What a great staff, everyone was amazing. Food was good and plenty of choice. Resort in general was huge and beautiful landscaped. Small bad thing is a soon you go to the beach you are going to get hassled

I loved the food, area is full of oxygen as the hotel has lots of trees. Very good swimming pool and the beach is sandy and clean. Friendly staff. Night entertainment was amazing plus walking after nice dinner was great and finally had a nice cocktail

An amazing hotel with lovely pools and garden areas. The staff were ALL attentive and welcoming from the reception to the groundsmen, everyone welcomed us with a Jambo! The food was delicious and a good variety. Pizza by the pool was amazing although you have to watch out for the monkeys who can smell it a mile off! We had two stolen!!!!! Lots of activities available if you feel like being active!! The only downsides were The rooms had beautiful Comfortable beds but the toilet and shower area could do with an upgrade! The beach isnt for sitting and swimming… Walking on the beach is spoilt because the hawkers WILL NOT leave you alone. We tried walking along the beach a few times but gave up each time! On our last day we decided to walk along to the left of the beach and just try and ignore them BUT gave up because they tried to talk to us and sell us things all the way along and back!!!!!! Wouldn’t take no for an answer which was frustrating! The only other downside is no option to walk outside the resort in the evening! We were told it was too dangerous and there really is t much to see ! HOWEVER…. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Baobab to anyone. We had an idyllic relaxing week there after our safari!

The Good: Large facility with spacious well equipped and clean rooms. Lots of activities to occupy the whole family throughout the day including after dinner professional entertainment. Very well maintained grounds with beatiful views of the ocean. Very nice salad bar with lots of variety. The not so good: Transportation transfer to and from the hotel was late and poorly coordinated. Hotel staff reception and service is too formal and not as hospitable as other resorts. Restaurant service is delayed and prioritizes foreign white tourists over other local tourists. Food is quite repetitive and could use some variety.
