This was such a good location for a few relaxing days at the end of our time in Madagascar. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for watching the sunset and for snorkeling trips. The pool was refreshing on a hot day and the restaurant served delicious food. We really enjoyed our time here.

Had a lovely visit and really enjoyed the rustic vibe. Our room was beachfront (worth the extra cost) with a lovely porch to enjoy the view and literally at the water. Food was good and staff was amazing. Beers could be colder, but lovely huge upstairs bar with amazing view over the ocean. Nice rim flow swimming pool, beach great for walks and swimming during high tide. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a smaller resort off the beaten track. Phillippe and his staff bend over backwards to accommodate you - we will be back.

I just spent a fantastic week at this lovely resort in the North West of Nosy Be. Tucked away on a more secluded stretch of beach Philippe and his family have spent 25 years making this their home. With three tiers of Bungalow's, all facing the sea, there is no bad view. And all are the same configuration which are very nice and spacious, complete with outdoor (undercover) table and chairs and your own beach lounges. Although there are open and airy the bungalows also have air conditioning which can be nice to know the edge off a warm night. The main building has a super spacious and nicely designed bar area to relax before or after dinner. The main kitchen has a great selection of fresh food to suit all tastes and the staff are all working and smiling together indicative of a great boss who looks after the team. Next to the restaurant is a lovely infinity pool where you can relax and take in the views of the local fisherman taking in their daily catch. There's a small gift boutique to take a look in as well and the massages are all in room using the chill-out couch area in each bungalow. Book one anytime as the price is right for several. Philippe and this team arrange daily excursions that leave right from your breakfast table, by boat, car or quad there are many things to see. For those who don't love the swaying of a boat the small island of Nosy Fanihy is very close so everyone can enjoy a fresh fish BBQ and snorkel without dreading a long boat journey. Longer days out from the resort via boat is a bonus for the more adventurous as it is an excellent way to see the west coast and beaches from a sea viewpoint. I'd recommend the Nosy Sakatia Island trip where we spent some time actually snorkelling with whale sharks on the way there and then the giant green turtles before another fresh lunch and relax on the island. The boat is Philippes so the timings are up to you on these trips (no large groups to content with). Of all the places I stayed on Nosy Be, Anjiamarango Beach is the one I would return to immediately. If you like peace and quiet, beautiful garden surroundings, fresh coconuts on your doorstep then this is the place for you. You can access every tour on the island from here albeit maybe one or two, like Lokobe Reserve or an overnight on Nosy Iranja, are more suited to staying more south if you don't fancy a long drive to get going first thing). If you are looking for anight party scene then this is perhaps not the place for you although on many evenings there were local performers/signers in the restaurant which made the dinners even better. In short if you are thinking about booking Anjiamarango Beach go ahead and do it. The longer you stay the more you won't want to leave.

Wow what a fantastic location and service. All staff excellent and the rooms and location excellent. After travelling nosy be we arrived here and wished we had come here for our entire trip as all the activities we had done could of been easily arranged by Phillipe and his fantastic team. Don't hesitate you won't regret booking. Oh and last but not least bring loose clothes as the food is so wonderful

This place is idyllic - so calm and serene. Charming wooden bungalows (with aircon), wooden shutters instead of glass, huge beds with a tented mosquito net just in case. Stocked minibar, sun loungers and outside tables/chairs. Someone comes to take your supper order late afternoon just before you watch the gorgeous sunsets. A couple of outings on the resort’s boat take you local fishing, snorkelling anr turtle watching straight from the beach. Friendly staff, great bar and good food options on the menu. Highly recommended. Will be back.

If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded accommodation with everything you need, you have found it! This is the ideal place for a perfect getaway where you don't have to worry about anything. The hospitable owner Philippe and his wife Lhaika will take care of all your wishes without any trouble. From the first contact via email, I knew this was THE place. Despite the usual internet issues, Philippe promptly answered all my numerous questions and even personally arranged a ham radio license for my husband to broadcast from Madagascar, which is usually not the easiest procedure. From landing at the airport to the takeoff of our plane back to Europe, everything was excellently taken care of. Organized transportation was waiting waiting for us at the airport, and upon arrival at the resort, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome and a brief introduction to all the activities they offer. Even though we don't speak a word of French, we were able to communicate in English with almost everyone without any problems. The bungalow is simply furnished but has everything you need. During high tide, it is about 10 meters from the sea, and during low tide, about 300 meters away. It is cleaned daily, towels and bed linen are regularly changed. Every late afternoon, the staff comes to draw the mosquito nets - so you don't have to worry about that either! Amazing sunsets... Breakfast is good, everyone finds something for themselves. Their fresh fruit juice is divine! Sometimes things run out, especially if you like to sleep long, but you have to keep in mind that you are in Africa and life flows quite differently... You need to order lunch and dinner in advance. The staff will find you a few hours before the meal, either on the beach, in the bungalow, or by the pool, to take your order and ensure you are served as quickly as possible. You don't need to look for restaurants on the island, as the food at the resort is fresh, tasty, and very affordable - I recommend daily fresh seafood and the zebu steak. Before arriving at Nosy Be, I was quite worried about the weather, as there is a rainy season at this time of the year. The worry was unnecessary; in 17 days, we only had one rainy morning and one cloudy day. It mostly rained at night, but everything dried up by morning. The main advantage was that there were no crowds at all the excursions and tourist attractions - we were almost alone everywhere, so we had a truly authentic experience. However, the rainy season also has some disadvantages - due to significant nighttime rainfall, the sea in front of the resort is quite murky and very, very warm, making it a bit less attractive for swimming. But the solution is the pool, which is well-maintained and clean and just the right size for a refreshing dip. You can spend quite a few pleasant hours on the comfortable loungers in the natural shade by the pool. You can also borrow kayaks and paddle about 300 meters to the colorful coral reef. I must admit that I was a little concerned that staying at a resort so isolated we might be “ prisoner “ to over priced food and drinks. My fears could not be further from the truth. The food and drink here is very reasonably priced, and very good. The chef comes to you, yes he comes and finds you, then you order your meal, and arrange the time you would like to eat and you sit down, the meal arrives. Everything here is done with the guest in mind. The day trips offered cover everything you would want to see, the resort has its own boat, so it’s easy to arrange whatever you would like to do. Phillip is always available to answer your questions. He’s been doing this a long time, there are loads of staff on the property. If you would like to spoil yourself in an unspoiled paradise book book book

Nothing bad to say. Everything was beyond our expectations. The room was huge, comfortable with an exceptional beach view and stunning sunset. Phillip the owner is always working in the background knowing all the details of our excursions and needs. Staff are friendly despite our schoolboy/girl french and accommodate without hesitation. The exclusion to nosy fahiny is a must of you like to snorkel where you will see turtles and an abundance of tropical fish, you can even watch them catch the fish which they cook for you for lunch, sublime. Tip, best to book the bungalows on the beach front (at a premium) to truly enjoy the sunsets and easy access to the sea (obviously) but the sea view are good, set up some steps for a higher point of observation. We were first concerned the remoteness of the resort but with free kayaks, excursions, chill out area with the bar, pool table/table football kept us entertained. The sea is clear and even saw chameleons. A holiday to remember and cherished
