Lovely little hotel on Dhigurah Island, helped us have a fantastic stay on "Local" Island.
Communicated with the hotel via WhatsApp (phone number listed in hotel information) prestay. Helped with the booking of the boat transfer from Male to Dhigurah.
Every interaction with the team at Whaleshark Beach was with an engaged, smiling team member. The team made for a very relaxed, carefree holiday.
The restaurant meals were delicious and good value.
When taking a full day boat excursion, the packed lunches were just as tasty.
With the early morning boat transfer back to Male, they proactively offered a takeaway breakfast.
Whaleshark Beach is definitely a great choice for visiting the natural beauty that is Dhigurah and the surrounding marine life.

This hotel is really outstanding! From the moment we entered the hotel, the staff was very welcoming and professional, and the check-in process was very smooth. The hotel environment is very elegant, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are very comfortable, which makes for a great night's sleep.
Special mention to the hotel restaurant, which has a wide variety of delicious food and meets my needs for all tastes. Be sure to try their steaks and fresh tuna! The location of the hotel is also very convenient, and car rental services are available.
Overall, this stay was very pleasant and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and look forward to coming back next time!

The room is comfortable, the food in the restaurant is delicious, the hotel helps book boat tickets and picks you up at the pier; the whale shark and manta ray snorkeling booked from the hotel is great and highly recommended

While we didn't stay in the hotel, I wish we did. Ate here every night of our stay, food is amazing. Highly recommend the Butter chicken Dish. This hotel also offers 3 in one tours which no other hotel in the island offers, wish we could have done this but due to conflicts with our hotel they couldn't take us on. Will stay here next time. Lovely staff.

I stayed for a week with 2 girlfriends and we loved the Whale Shark Beach hotel. Lola and her team of fabulous staff have been so good and delightful to be with . My room 101 was clean and the view across the restaurant next door was fun. My pillows were soft and white sheets clean. Room served each day and a tuk tuk back to the speed boat to leave at the end of our stay. Our meals there were delicious. The beach is maybe 15m away and a hose at the front door to wash the sand off your feet and shoes. We went on a half day cruise and snorkelled with a whale shark! Amazing staff on the boat. Dhigurah Island is amazing and I definitely recommend you stay here and book on their website . Booking dot com take 18% commission. Booking on their website is appreciated. Lola the Manager deserves lots of acknowledgement and praise for her management skills. Highly recommend this hotel.
