Crown Beach Hotel-Private Bikini Beach

Stayed for 4 nights. The hotel staff is helpful. I requested a transfer from the airport by email in advance. 50 minutes shaking on speed board? About. It was only $ 100 per person because we went only to the couple. The return ride was a shared ride, so about $ 40 per person? was. The beach in front of the hotel! The best point for snorkeling. There were colorful, large and small fish. For activities such as diving, you will receive an application form, just write your wishes and give it to the reception. I dived. Is breakfast normal? is. It's not very delicious and the variety is less. . . Guest house rather than hotel? It is like. Since it is a local island, it has not been resorted. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the sea. Please bring your own hair dryer. There are beach towels. Because there are many mosquitoes, insect repellent is essential. The picture was taken from the beach in front of the hotel! The sea is too beautiful and the best.
Joy Island Maldives by Cocoon Collection

Highly recommend this resort had a great 10 day stay, weather was fantastic. Speedboat transfer very well organised. Fantastic clean accommodation , grounds @ public areas. Very grateful for an early check in so we could unpack straight away and start our holiday. Beach Villas step straight out onto the sand then to the sea within a few steps , peaceful sound of the waves. Bathroom being partly open is very quaint , geckos watch your every move but you soon get used to that , it’s harmless Gorgeous walks around the island with marine life right at the waters edge. Great to be able to stop off for a cool drink at Palm Beach before heading back to pool. Large selection of foods available at The Market , something for everyone. With open aspect to the restaurant it’s like sitting outdoors but you’re under cover. Air conditioned part of The Market is perfect for lunchtimes when it’s exceptional hot outside. The heat in the Maldives is very intense so it’s good that there are places to cool off and not just your room. Lovely cushioned sun loungers round the pool. Pool nice cool temperature , perfect for cooling down . Rainbow bar is a very large open space but undercover and where majority of entertainment takes places. Loved the weekly Joy party round the pool, dancing , party drinks, pop corn @ ice lollies then an encore from the Resort Chefs. Every member of staff is a credit to the company always smiling , happy @ helpful. Thank you to our host Robi, also Sony/ Dita @ their teams in The Market . Aaibish in the Rainbow bar and our villa attendant for keeping everything in our room like new. Had a lovely pizza at the separate restaurant , such a shame more people don’t use it but it isn’t part of all inclusive so we only tried it on a last day when our access to the Market ceased at 12 noon. Unfortunately we weren’t able to secure a late check out for our 8pm transfer to airport due to resort being at full capacity . We did have access to shower facilities which were very good but there needs to be some air conditioning in there as the heat was overpowering and made it very difficult for drying hair , using aftersun, putting make up on etc. a seat would also be beneficial. Entertainment was ok but could be improved. Seats in both the Rainbow Bar @ The Market are very very hard so doesn’t encourage you to sit long , quite uncomfortable. Despite a few negatives we would definitely still return to Joy Island .
