I can't say enough about this guest house and its staff, always present and attentive but never intrusive. Mohamed, Shanto, Royal and even the chef whose name I don't remember made our holiday unforgettable! We traveled with our three children (aged 4, 2 years and 7 months) and without their help everything would have been much more tiring. They often accompanied us in their golf cart and helped us with everything. We also took part in the excursion organized by them to see dolphins at sunset... unfortunately the weather was not optimal and we didn't spot anything. The next day Mohamed informs us that some of his acquaintances had spotted them... so he proposed the boat trip again without further payment, giving us an unforgettable experience! The food has also always been to our liking, the first morning they even brought us breakfast to our room as we fell asleep due to too much tiredness from the journey... which was very welcome. On the last evening they surprised us by illuminating our table with a thousand lights, making the dinner truly magical. On the top floor of the building there is a small spa (the Maldivian massage at the end of the holiday is highly recommended). What can I say... we will always carry you guys in our hearts, thanks for everything!

Very kind guys, super helpful, Mohammed, Santo, Royal and the other one whose name I don't remember. They organized return transfers, we went all inclusive and had a fixed menu from which we could choose 2 courses (1 or second course and dessert) and drinks for lunch and dinner. The chef was always available and ready to accommodate our every request. The breakfast was a bit monotonous, but that's okay. The restaurant is right on the sea, heavenly. Clean room and wonderful view from the balcony, cleaning and towel changes are done on request by hanging a tag that is supplied for each room. Excursions booked by them, with 2 very kind and friendly guys who accompanied us. The island is about 1 km long and you can explore it all on foot, there are no cars or asphalt, just sand, scooters and golf cars. It's a bit dirty because it's inhabited by locals who don't take care of it but honestly the beauty of the beaches makes up for it all. There are 3/4 bikini beaches, the portia one is the one to the north and is the most beautiful, in the evening the rays and sharks come to the shore and wait to be fed, while to the south you can enjoy spectacular sunsets, there we almost always hit the shallows in the afternoon. Together with my fiancé they organized my marriage proposal divinely, which made this trip even more special. Fresh water always available and free. Thanks for everything guys.

We stayed for 12 days in the fall of 22 in a deluxe room with a sea view. The hotel is very cozy, the view from the window is beautiful, having walked around the entire island, I think that in front of the hotel is the most beautiful view and everything is green. We bought three meals a day. For breakfast they bring what is on schedule: there is always an egg dish, toast, sweet pastries, legumes (peas, beans), tuna snacks. And a plate of fruit. Everything is delicious, you always get full. For lunch and dinner you choose from a specific list of dishes (drink, main course and dessert), the portions are huge, rice and fish are cooked perfectly. We tried everything on the menu, you can eat everything)) you can also ask them if you are two people, they will make you a large grilled fish for two, we ordered this for dinner several times. We always ate outside, and there are flies and ants, but that’s nature, we all understand. Nearby, a 3-minute walk, there is a bikini beach, the best of those on the island, other places are only for taking pictures, as it is shallow there. When you go to the beach, you tell the hotel staff, and they bring umbrellas and set up sun loungers. The beach is beautiful, if you swim forward through the depths to the “concrete”, there will be a reef and various fish. The hotel provides water without restrictions, in refillable bottles. There are several shops on the island, they accept dollars everywhere, the prices are very reasonable, we only bought drinks, since we ate too much at the hotel. The hotel staff are very attentive, polite, and always helpful. Airport transfers and excursions were organized through the hotel. Prices for excursions at the hotel are cheaper or the same as in other places, very convenient. We went snorkeling with a view of turtles, an amazing, extraordinary reef, we saw everyone from the cartoon “Nemo”, two turtles and even a 1.5 meter shark. The feeling is incredible. The holiday was great, the views are gorgeous, the water is magical, and the staff is very cool. We were lucky with the weather, it was always sunny, in the evening there could be clouds and rain for no more than five minutes. Things were dried on the balcony, the humidity was acceptable, everything dried out. Wi-Fi works fine throughout the hotel, the best speed is at the reception. We corresponded with Sonal on WhatsApp for all questions, since we are weak in English. Of the minuses, the room does not have enough hooks for clothes and shelves. Since there is not enough space for things. We were on vacation with friends, they were behind the wall in the next room. If you wash at the same time, the water pressure is bad, they took turns washing, and informed each other. They didn't clean it often, but if you told them, they cleaned it right away. Bring the towels and change them yourself; for some reason they don’t do this during cleaning.

We did not stay at this hotel, but came a couple of times for lunch and once for dinner (buffet). Lunches are hearty and tasty, dinner was also good. I recommend to visit the cafe from this hotel. The cost of the buffet is 12 dollars for 1 person.

small hotel with only a few sea view rooms and I would say they are the best. The hotel is a little neglected but clean and has everything you need. It has the best area of ​​the island in my opinion and meals on the beach overlooking the sea are also a great experience. Fantastic staff. We celebrated the vow renewal and they organized everything very well. Well done everyone. The food is excellent, we only have breakfast but in the end we almost always have lunch and dinner there after trying other restaurants. They have umbrellas and sunbeds for the beach. It wasn't my first time in the Maldives and I would definitely return to Portia. The only thing I recommend is putting lights on for dinner in the evening. It would also be more impressive having a nice environment. A hug to all the staff!. We won't forget them, and who knows maybe we'll come back to visit them!

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights at this Guest House located north of Dhiffushi. It has a few rooms about ten in all, I highly recommend the ocean view rooms as they have a balcony. Room a little small but everything is there, keep in mind that you will not be in a resort, but the guys from Solan to the chef and all their Cru are fantastic always with a smile. If you want to visit the Maldives on a budget, this is the location for you. Dhiffushi is a Local island, which means that you will coexist with the Maldivians, a calm and always available people. From here you can do a lot of excursions for a few dollars and be able to see the wonders of the "Vère Maldives". You can ask the chef for lobsters, octopuses and more as off the menu (spending for 1 lobster for two is $25 each). For the rest, bring only 1 swimsuit and 1 shirt and enjoy the relaxation.
