We absolutely loved our stay at River View Villas. The hotel itself is beautiful set right by the Bentota Ganga River, we loved watching the huge fruit bats glide above the trees every evening and Eagles soaring above the water. The room was lovely, we got upgraded to an even better room after one night which we didn't ask for, with a breath taking view from our balcony and was made even better by the fresh flowers placed on the bed by the cleaner every day. The staff were wonderful, couldn't do enough for us, so kind and caring. The food was delicious, we loved the Sri Lankan Aryuvedic cuisine and the fruit with every meal, but greatly enjoyed our extras given by the chef including beautiful freshly cooked fish nearly every other day. The experiences really made our trip, our wonderful River Safari, the evening meal on the restaurant boat and we managed to arrange a trip to Udalawale National Park and Galle with the hotel owner where we managed to spot elephants. Nothing is too much for River View Villas. The only downside was having to come home. We hope to come and see you all again very soon, thank you all so much, Sri Lanka really holds a special place in our hearts now.

Amazing amazing amazing… best location with breathtaking views , fabulous place with wonderful staff and owner . Nothing is too much trouble . I can not thank Illyas enough for what he has done for us as a family .please try this place and their fantastic Ayurvedic treatment packages . You WILL NOT be disappointed

I stayed 3 nights 7_9 November 2018 at River view villa in Benbtota Sri Lanka,the villa was very clean ,comfortable and quite the location is very beautiful,we were three persons ,staff was very gentle ,friendly and cooperative, price was reasonable ,I recommend this place .Ali Adwan Jordan

The room is very comfy and the balcony too the food is also very good especially the roti in the breakfast. The beautiful view coming outside the room with lake.we explored the lake in a boat and it was delightful experience. The pool was very big and very nice experience

All the arrangements were excellent, the staff were very kind and very helpful specially the manager. He is very sweet and kind. When ever we ask for help he attend immediately. All the services were great and amazing, nice pool , good food and very clean and comfortable room. I highly recommend this hotel to other who are looking for peaceful and great service. This is really exceptional. Never think of this before. Thank you so much. Looking forward to come here in future. We really enjoyed

Very lovely accommodation! The staff is super friendly and always takes care of you. The food is amazing and especially the massages are just a dream! Highly recommended for anyone who just wants to have a relaxing time. The beach is also just a 5 min ride away.

Very attentive and lovingly managed Ayurveda resort. Competent support of the Panchacharma treatment by 2 doctors and a helpful and attentive treatment team. The entire grounds and the various villas and room arrangements are clean, well-kept and beautifully designed. There are small niches everywhere in which you can relax. The meals are buffet-style and are based on Ayurvedic guidelines and are very tasty. Losing weight is not that easy. And there are yoga classes every morning. It makes sense to concentrate fully on the treatment and retreating into yourself. Nevertheless, the staff are willing to organize small trips into the surrounding area, on the river, to the beach, to temples or to the market. Perhaps a tip for us westerners/critical minds: the doctor and therapist do not explain much about the treatment. It is similar throughout Asia, you trust in the therapy and let it work. Of course, everyone has the opportunity to ask questions and clarify things at any time. I received all the support I needed. One of my personal daily highlights. Every evening at dusk, thousands of fruit bats flew over the river on their way to their feeding grounds. At dawn they flew back to their trees. What a spectacle!

Приятный спокойный отель с красивой территорией. Очень внимательное обращение с постояльцами, в том числе со стороны лично хозяина. Отлично подойдет для медитации, йога и умиротворения. Рекомендую! Единственный минус комары, но везде есть фумигаторы
