It is not recommended to take the 2-hour very noisy ferry⛴️ to come here. It takes 4 hours to go back and forth. The air on the island is not good and the beach is not clean. Similar hotels are actually very poor value for money. There is no air conditioning, but there is a swimming pool. The room also requires you to take off your shoes and they say you have lost your room key. 15 dollars promised breakfast at 7 o'clock, but actually it was not officially put out until 7:30 🈵️food or drink 🥤 The toilet mirror was clogged 🪞Hair show
The cabinet smells like rust. It’s not as good as other people’s reviews. At the actual domestic price of 160-266, it’s not worth it🪳🦭

This was the second time at Perla for myself and my 12,9 and 6 year old children. We had a spacious room with tea/coffee making facilities, water, fridge with freezer compartment and daily house keeping. Air con was a godsend too. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. We were looked after each day by Pradeep and Akis (along with the kitchen staff) who served our food and they were always so helpful. Siro and Ali were amazing and we really enjoyed the extras they provided this year like the treasure hunt and learning about the fish and how to tie boat knots. Gumini always had a smile in reception and was on hand with any help we needed. The boat crew were amazing and looked after us all. The swimming pool was also a hit with the kids and they loved saying hello to Pi the resident macaw. It’s well placed for getting to the jetty and harbour for all the fab boat trips that are on offer and a stones throw from the shops. We were sad to leave this place and hope we’ll return someday.

We had the best holiday ever to have been! Our rooms were lovely, so clean, well equipped and beautiful, I was super impressed and the children just thought it was magical! Food was super yum too! The staff are so nice and helpful, everyone on the whole island was! It made an already amazing holiday into an unforgettable one 🙌 The island is a beautiful place, with fantastic snorkelling right on the doorstep, beautiful views, great places to eat, fun activities and stunning places to relax. I honestly cannot thank Perla and their staff enough we had the most incredible time and all we want to do is go back!!

This was our second time back to Perla! Perla is a lovely place to stay with friendly staff. The beds are comfortable, the room clean, the shower good with hot water, delicious food, aircon, and a parrot called Pi :) We LOVED all the activities run by the guesthouse, special mention to Siro and Ali, which included snorkelling on nearby reefs, trips to sand banks and deserted islands, snorkelling with whale sharks, nurse sharks, turtles and loads of colouring fish.

We’ve just returned home after a 15 night stay at Perla for a Worldschooling trip and Perla is definately etched in our hearts forever! We had a double room with a camp bed for myself and my 14 and 7 year old, the beds were comfy, great air con and the bathroom, although small, was equipped with all we needed. A fridge in our room was great for storing cold drinks, and tea & coffee facilities were provided and restocked daily, along with drinking water. The rooms were cleaned daily and linen changed every other day, we couldn’t want for more. The team at Perla are fantastic, Ali and Siri deserve a very special mention as they really went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable! Elliot will forever remember his jump in to see the whale shark with Ali! 🖤 The rest of the team were also incredible, looking after us at breakfast and dinner with service with a smile always, nothing was too much trouble! Thank you! We would love to come back one day 💛

We had the most incredible time staying on Dhangethi at Perla. We went on some incredible skorkelling trips organised and run by very knowledgeable Perla staff. The buffet style breakfast and evening meals were varied and delicious! We stayed for 2 weeks and were never bored of the menu. Our balcony room was clean and suited our needs perfectly. The staff were friendly and very helpful. This is a trip that we'll never forget. We saw some incredible marine sights and were afforded the most phenomenal memories. ❤️

The team at Perla go above and beyond to make sure that you will have an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself is beautiful with great rooms, good aircon and amazing food! We went on many of the day trips arranged by the staff and they really worked tirelessly to make sure that we had experiences of a lifetime! Huge thank you to everyone there you helped us make the best memories and I hope we get to come back one day!
