We had a wonderful stay. My husband and I were there on a trip to celebrate our anniversary and stayed in the honeymoon suite. The room was beautiful and there was a great soaking tub to relax in after a nice hike. The food was fantastic, and we were provided with nice places to visit in the area. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

Here’s the review. The Brewster Inn is a little oasis of comfort and calm in Dexter, Maine. My elderly mother and I spent two nights in the Inn's Game Room, that boasts cozy chairs in front of a gas fireplace and rustic Maine decoration. . It was an exceptional space with a huge kingsize comfy bed and my mother and I shared. It also included a twin bed in a small alcove of the room that provided some privacy or nook to enjoy a book or house another family member. It was extremely quiet and we felt safe and secure as the front door to the Inn is also locked after hours. Tina and Mark provide a hot breakfast in addition to assorted tea bread and jam, as well as coffee and tea and juice. They were proactive in updating us on traffic or road conditions during our stay, which prevented a long delay on our return journey. They were personable without being obtrusive and were knowledgable about the area sights and food offerings. When we return to visit our family in St. Alban's we will certainly return to this well maintained and comfortable spot that is walkable to town and the Moosehead Trail. We enjoyed learning about the history of the Inn and it’s links to Senator Brewster of Maine. See you again in the near future.

I would give the Inn 100 stars if possible! My husband and I have traveled all over the world, and this Inn is the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Their dedication to that aspect was apparent the first time we walked through the door. We selected the Honeymoon Suite because we liked the extra space it offered. It was so comfortable that we almost hated to leave to go exploring each day. The breakfasts each day were perfect. Tina and Mark have a nice variety of food each morning, alternating between a savory and a sweet main dish. They are both so warm and gracious. We enjoyed talking to them every day. It was a huge joy to stay in their Inn!

I was in Dexter for a wedding in Corinna and stayed two nights at the Brewster Inn. Owners were extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent. The room was immaculate, had a private bathroom, and was very comfortable. Plenty of space to hang my dresses! The entire place was charming and bright but also plenty of privacy. Only five minutes from the wedding venue.

This was our second stay at the Brewster Inn in as many years. We were in Dexter to visit family and my wife, and I decided to return to the Dexter Inn because our first experience was such a good one. Tina and Mark did not disappoint, and we again found the Dexter Inn to be very clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Tina and Mark are very friendly and accommodating to any need we may have had. The other guests were also friendly, and we enjoyed sharing time with them during breakfast in the dining room each morning. Security is important while traveling, and my wife and I felt very safe while both in the common areas of the house and while in our spacious room. Thank you Mark and Tina for providing another great experience, and we will be back again soon. We highly recommend staying at the Brewster Inn, if you are looking for a quiet, secure, and comfortable experience with very accommodating proprietors.

Mark and Tina's Brewster Inn was so lovely!! My father and I live far from one another. I decided to make a trip to Maine to check in on him, but wasn't sure what I would I would find: his physical health, his mobility, the condition of his house, etc., so picked this Inn nearby to recharge. Boy did it deliver! The owners are lovely kind people. The room was clean, spacious, and well-air conditioned. At the end of a long day, I couldn't wait to get back there to put my feet up. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Our room had a cute, clean little bathroom, mini fridge, and super-duper comfortable bed and pillows. Mark and Tina are excellent communicators and went out of their way to check on in me, knowing I was there to check in on my dad. I noticed that other guests were also visiting Maine on a variety of family matters, and observed them offering really good suggestions and local knowledge. The location is near to a few cute towns, and not far from the Bangor Airport. There is plenty of parking.

My wife and I needed a little getaway so we decided to visit Maine. We booked a week at the Brewster Inn in Dexter. Our stay there was absolutely amazing not only with the inn but our host were fantastic. Mark and Tina made sure everything was perfect. The room was great, the breakfast each day was amazing. We would go on day trips and They would give us recommendations based on our trips. And believe me they did not disappoint. We were able to see and do things that I’m sure we would have missed out on if they hadn’t recommended them. I recommend that if you are going to visit Maine this is where you need to stay.

We traveled to Deter, Me to visit a navy buddy and his wife, who I had not seen in ten years. We had never been to Dexter before and had no idea where to stay. We found the Brewster Inn online and chose it due to its proximity to our destination. It turned out to be a great choice! Our hosts at the Inn, Mark and Tina, are friendly, helpful, and informative. They live in the Inn in separate quarters, and Tina is a source of historical information about the house. The landscaping around the property is gorgeous. My wife, Shawn, had a great time observing the flowers, trees, and shrubs. Our room was also very comfortable. It is well-lit, quiet, and we slept without care. The hot shower was welcome after hours of travelling. We had a delicious breakfast casserole each morning, along with plenty of fresh fruit, bagels, and coffee. On our day of departure, we had a slow leak in a tire that necessitated a repair. Mark was very helpful by providing local information and allowing us to change the tire in front of the Inn as it was raining heavily that day. We encourage travelers to New England to stay with Mark and Tina at the Brewster Inn. You will not be disappointed! Michael and Shawn Shuman
