My mum and I stayed here to break the journey between Jaipur and Udaipur. It was our most enjoyable stay of our whole India trip. The family were so welcoming and we felt like we were right at home. It was great to have a real family experience admist all the hotels. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. Our lake view safari will be laughed about for years!

Unique place to stay for Christmas. We enjoyed the whole experience. Excellent food - we had lunch and dinner with family. Superb room and bathroom An unforgettable train ride and many more options that we didn't do it all - but there was a family that went out for the evening safari and spotted a leopard!

This was one of the most exquisite places we have ever stayed at. The Deogarh family were the kindest, loveliest, most caring hosts who treated us like family. The accommodation was spacious and gorgeous with attention to every detail. We went on a jeep safari and had such a special time seeing a leopard. We treasured every moment that we spent at Dev Shree.

Beautiful relaxing place. Make sure to enjoy a massage and the scenic train ride. Leopard sightings are regular. The staff and owner’s family are very kind and make you feel invited in their home. The food is excellent. Truly a great experience.

Highly overrated place. Newly built building, comfortable place overall but not worth the amount . We did not like the service. Owner talks as if he is a Maharaja of Mewar. Dogs are lovable , so friendly . Food was so so . Staff is good . Stay at Devgarh mahal instead of staying at Dev Shree .

Had the most incredible welcoming homestay. Fabulously friendly informative staff, mouthwatering food, great conversation around the dinner table. Could not recommend enough. The evening sundowner safari was so good we did it both evenings, a very special experience with the added bonus of spotting a leopard.

We had such a relaxing time at Dev Shree. The house, garden and pool area are beautiful. The view of the lake is idyllic and we loved watching all the birds there. The food is delicious, and sitting around the table with the family and other guests was fun and interesting. We went on some great trips; seeing a leopard at dusk was a highlight. We visited a local school, the town and went on a wonderful train journey. But best of all was the welcome and care we received from all of the family and staff.
