Where the APEC Ministerial Meeting is held, the room is large, some of the facilities are a bit old, and the hotel lobby is not very grand. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet and public security is good. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the core area of the main city.

The furniture was badly scratched and damaged. The carpet was nearly worn out. The desk chair fabric was worn, and even the trashcans were rusted inside. Overall, the room needed to be remodeled. My room was cleaned once after the first day of a five-day stay. The cleaning staff didn't come until 2:30-3 pm on days three and four. I attended training classes and events between 9 am and 2 pm. I will probably not book a room at a Wyndham Hotel again. I should have taken photos.

Colleagues went to the United States for a business trip and helped him choose a hotel. The service was quite good, the facilities were ok, the price was not expensive, and the basics were not bad. Mainly interested in parking free, haha
We’re on Michigan Avenue, in the historic neighborhood of Corktown. This lively area is filled with restaurants, boutique shops, bars, and breweries. We’re around a mile from the waterfront and the heart of downtown Detroit. Relax at our rooftop lounge with views of the city skyline or enjoy a meal at our restaurant, Hamilton by Samy Eid.

The location is a little off, but the hotel facilities are good, basically matching the domestic five-star hotels, the service is also very good, and the price is reasonable. It is not far from the city center, highly recommended

The staff was rude from the very first phone call. Refused to take our reservation over the phone. When we arrived we found out there was a $100 deposit that was required-talked to others in our group-they were not charged that fee. I tried to talk to the girl at the front desk she wanted no part of listening to me. Our entire group ( we were there for state wrestling finals) and our keys were all uncoded for our 2nd night. So after a long day we ALL had to go to the office and get new keys. The rooms were dirty-very dirty. Hair in the shower, our friends room had glass on the flower and messages left from Valentines Day on the counter. Almost no hot water-the front desk person had no way to get extra towels. Rooms had 2 towels with a 4 person occupancy. We tried to book somewhere else but due to the wrestling finals we couldn’t find any other place with availability. This is not a Baymont standard hotel and we are very dissatisfied. I will be disputing these charges with my bank.

Excellent
NNvxia70This hotel is very new, clean and tidy, with a good environment and a good restaurant! The location is in a relatively urban area. On the first day of arrival, I went to an Italian restaurant nearby and waited for 30 minutes for a seat. It felt quite fresh!
肖肖I really like this hotel. Opposite the Ford Motor Company, the hotel helped upgrade to a double bed room, clean and comfortable, there are many pictures of Ford in the hotel, and the swimming pool.
GGuest UserPoor service and bad management. Have been staying with this hotel for years . The service level and lounge has been slow and closed during Covid. (Just as an update Covid restrictions are over so wake up)My latest stay was not acceptable. Missing items in the room like iron . Had to call house keeping and they were all but rude to bring to me. Checking in was also rude and no Bonvoy recognition nor did that have any recognition for titanium status until I ask them and they said ok however because lounge is closed . They gave me a breakfast voucher and told me good for $40 breakfast before 12 and $20 after for snacks . First day did not have any issue I had a beer and candy . This has also been the same for the last 10 visits. When I tried this second morning to get a water and snack the manager in store told me I could not and only breakfast items . He told me he has been there for months and this is the rules. He then brought over a front desk manager who told me that this has always been the policy and therefor only breakfast items which by the way the have like two. Bottom line as Bonvoy hotels comeback and think they can skim from the customer on service and amenities they will soon learn and pay the long term price of lost customers. The hotel rates have doubled and I understand inflation however cutting service and loyalty is not good business.
GGuest UserIf I could rate it 0 stars I would. I'm going to write a review on every platform and the BBB about this place because I can't believe this happened. My boyfriend booked a night as just a getaway and it turned out horrible. We spent all of 1 hour in this ”hotel” altogether. This place falsely advertised clean, modern rooms but, what you really get is a cell fit for an inmate with a lot of connections. The floors were concrete and the room was filthy. In the first room we were put in they tried to hide a HUGE BLOOD STAIN filled with hair between the sheets and the mattress. The tub also had a ring around it. I was so shocked I didn't think to document it in the first room at the time and really wish I had. The staff was accommodating at first as they should be and we received another room next door to the old room and the same thing. It appeared to be fine but, upon inspection the shower and sink filled each time we used them. I took a shower and looked up at the ceiling covered with black mold. We ultimately decided to leave mid-stay at 4 a.m. because we didn't feel comfortable staying there in a filthy, moldy room for $300. We talked to the front desk for a refund and they took our number and told us management would contact us. We never received that call and decided to call ourselves they're currently giving us the runaround not trying to refund us and being very combative. JUST AVOID THIS RENOVATED HOMELESS SHELTER ALTOGETHER!!! AND KEEP YOUR MONEY FROM THIS SCAM MOTEL 6
SsarahB365TKEvery staff member I encountered was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help us or just ask how we were doing as we passed through the lobby. The hotel is older and the elevator is small. The doorway of the room was also small. We had a wheelchair with us but as it was not a large one, it was able to fit. The room was clean and nice. My major complaint would be the bathroom door. While the sliding barn door is trendy it does lack privacy and there’s no handle on the inside of the bathroom. If you slide it with a small amount of force, it would ricochet off the other side of the closet area and bump into the person who was walking in or out of the bathroom. As we did have an older adult (85 years young) who was using a walker I was concerned about that. The street noise guild be heard but that was ok. The walls are thin so you do hear other patrons. The breakfast area seemed very small and just so-so looking good choices. We ate elsewhere. Overall, decent hotel with clean rooms for the price. And close to where we needed to be.
GGuest UserFriendly staff, the usual continental breakfast fare (cereal, breads, hard-boiled eggs), and great central location for exploring downtown Detroit. Our room was nicer than the outside of the motel looked, with a little fridge and microwave. My only complaint (& not much of a complaint) is that the room was a bit stuffy - we were told that the A/C didn't get turned on until June. But overall, a good stay, and with free parking! Good value for the price.
