Jan and Jeff were wonderfully gracious and welcoming. The location was only minutes from town, far enough to wake to the sound of birds and sheep nearby. Breakfast was lovely. Our stay was too short. Our room was lively, with its bath en-suite.

We came to Te Anau to do the Fiordland 3 hike package. This wonderful B&B ( only 5 mins from town by car) provided us with a super comfortable bed and private bathroom, and a gorgeous clean hot tub (for aching legs) set in a lovely garden, with picturesque rural views. However, the very best part of this whole experience was the wonderful hosts Jan and Jeff. From their welcome to the warm croissants, fresh fruit, cereals and cappuccinos for breakfast (even at 6am) to their genuine warmth and generosity during our stay - this was amazing southern hospitality. If this place is available, book it - it is a real treat!

Jan and Jeff were so hospitable and kind. We had 6am breakfast starts each day and Jeff cheerily got up to serve us. Hot tub was very welcome after two intense days of hiking and kayaking!

A fantastic place to stay - Jan and Jeff (hope i have spelled those right!) are warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. The accommodation is very comfortable, with a shared guest lounge and a lovely deck to sit out on. The hot tub was very welcome after active days in incredible Fiordland. Te Anau is less than 5 mins drive away, so very convenient. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back to this area one day!

Great place to stay on a road trip around the South Island. Ideally located to enjoy all of what Fiordland offers. Jan and Jeff are ideal hosts and their Bed and Breakfast is such a relaxed and chilled environment. Te Anau is a five minute drive from Alpine Rock and offers numerous places to eat and enjoy for an evening.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay here with Jeff and Jan both on our way and upon returning from Milford Sound. Jeff and Jan were warm, attentive and helpful hosts. We were served tea and cookies on the porch upon our afternoon arrival and greeted by a friendly terrier named Eddie. The facilities were warm and comfortable and clean. and a divine hot tub. Garden views with beautiful flower gardens and a more than adequate continental breakfast made our stay every bit of a respite that we hoped for. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hosts who told us what we wanted and needed to know about activities in the area. Our bed was comfortable, the shower worked well and breakfast was good. The hot tub was a great way to finish our day. The owners have done an excellent job creating a lovely setting and a welcoming home for their guests.
