After completing an amazing two days’ trip, experiencing the Abel Tasman National Park, we were ready to start our trip to New Zealand’s Western Coast in the Southern Island. Our destination was Westport, located on the western coast. A long distance and a challenging drive to be completed in a day. Luckily, my travel partner, Daniel, is a skilled driver who managed to complete this route in a day, having just a few stops along the way. We arrived in Westport in the late afternoon, getting ready to settle for the night, before continuing our trip. We were excited to find “Sunset Accommodation” to be an ideal location for us. Cheryl, the hostess, greeted us, two Senior Travelers, with a big smile, leading us to a two beautiful, well appointed units facing West towards Tasman Sea. She did her best and went out of her way to make us feel at home. An extra bonus were all the goodies and small gifts she showered us with. Both units were spotless, functional and answered all our needs. What a splendid way to start our trip along New Zealand’s Western Coast. Should your itinerary includes New Zealand Southern Island, do not miss the opportunity to spend the night at “Sunset Accommodation” located nearby Westport. Yossi Kimhi, Shoresh, Israel
