Don’t do it. Scary filthy room (bathroom skylight a mess of spiderwebs and dust along with spider in the tub). Restaurant closed. Reception closed (key in outdoor box for entry). Super dusty and cold room. Hair dryer worked, just barely as the handle kept collapsing. Bed was ok. Sheets seemed clean. Go the extra distance and stay in TeAnu.

A regular suburban motel with outdated and simple facilities. But as a small hotel in a non-hotspot location, it's still pretty good. Lake Manapouri opposite the Motel is wide and peaceful.

In desperate need of an upgrade! And the cleanliness of the communal kitchen and room bathroom have a lot to be desired. The cooker barely worked as did the extra hot plates. I will not be staying there again.

It is better off to sleep in your car and access shared services somewhere else rather than staying here, The other unfortunate part is advertised on ******* so this is i not good for the reputation. Will think twice before using ******* again. The refundable option is lies, I was told by you that the said room is not available , however when we checked in we were the lower grade room , how was this possible. No microwave, shabby room and you did not help and just said sorry.

The view from the room was spectacular. Unfortunately the property came up short of what i would expect for the price. Property was dated and run down. Bar/ cafe meals were quick and easy items - which is fine, but the quality of the neals was very poor.

The views are stunning. Park outside the front door. You can sit outside.
Bathroom a bit tired.
A bit overpriced but that could be the time of year or late booking.

Excellent location for a family with twenty-something kids. Perfect spot for getting to activities across Fiordland (we did have a car). Beautiful lake and mountain views especially mornings and evenings. Only complaint was beds not being very comfortable.

A good stopping point to explore the area from. You could very easily hear noise from adjoining rooms and the wifi was poor. But the staff were helpful and accommodating, providing extra towels, advice about the area etc. Certainly not luxurious, but ok for a night or two.

View to die for. We were given a lower rated room than was paid for (was quickly rectified)
Jug still had water in bottom of it. Bed side cabinets bottom shelves had not been dusted for a long time. Only 2 very small UTH milk pods for 2 people. Otherwise easy check in and a comfortable unit
