Super clean and well-equipped apartments right on the beach (down 4 or 5 steps literally). Everything you need (2 ceramic ring hob, fridge, freezer, free tea, coffee, etc, good quality crockery and utensils, etc). Lovely balcony with comfy furniture to watch the waves roll in 20m away with a cold drink. Free WiFi included. Reception is only available until 6pm but there is a 24/7 emergency contact number. There is a shared garden area with loungers, gas bbq, bar style seating, outdoor spa pool and showers and a trampoline! Free parking available. Overall really great quality accommodation right on beautiful beach. Only comment is that if you are with kids or are 2 couples, the bathroom is off one of the bedrooms and the kitchen/living area is open plan with the main double bed area.

Fantastic beach front accommodation that is very clean and well fitted out with everything you need from a studio. They also had a hot tub (shared) and the use of kayaks with life jackets etc. The location is within easy reach of the local town and facilities which is very tourist friendly with lots to do and places to enjoy food and drink. The balcony looks straight out into the private beach and if you’re up early enough for the sunrise, you won’t regret it!

Excellent location right on the beach. Studio balcony overlooked the garden and beach. Accommodation spotless and extremely well equipped including microwave and hob plus full size fridge freezer Bed comfortable and pillows soft. We wished we could have stayed longer than our 3 nights. 5 minute drive to shops / restaurant but also by an enjoyable 30 minute walk along the beach. Enjoyed Kayaking around cathedral cove whilst staying here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our all too short stay here . Unbeatable views from our room of the lovely beach . Accommodation well equipped and very clean . This is a great place to relax and enjoy Whitianga and the Coromendal peninsula.Highly recommended.

Fantastic three days at the end of our trip. A great location directly on the beach. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything that we required for our stay. The nearest shops, bars and restaurants were a shortish walk away but we were please for the exercise. The host could not be more friendly or helpful.

Great location, suites are very nice, and the property is awesome with lots of facilities like grill area, hot tub, trampoline and an amazing beach! We had a lot of fun! The owner is very helpful. Recommend this for family or couples who want to be in a relaxed environment on a beautiful beach central to all sightseeing and hikes!

The best motel in Whitianga - the only one right on the beach. All the others are over the road from the beach. Beautiful room, everything we needed. The owners are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Can't fault it. We would highly recommend.

We stayed in a non-view room, but since it was a 30 second walk to the beach, that worked for us. The room was very large and very clean and everything worked perfectly. I didn't realize the beach here was so lovely, and we kept stopping to pick up and admire shells. So many shells! The man who checked us in (Paul?) was very friendly and welcoming. We spent our full day walking part of the Coromandel Coastal Walk. It was certainly a full day, but doable from Whitianga. We would choose this hotel again.

This is a lovely little resort with very kind and friendly staff and a perfect view of the ocean! Our ground floor unit patio led directly down to the beach, and was a short walk into town. The kitchenette was well appointed and the unit was sparklingly clean all the way around. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
