This hotel had quiet rooms off the main street in town. You need a car to see the sites, shop or go eat, etc. The rooms were clean, with good air con and beds. The showers and bathroom were adequate. The host was very pleasant and helpful. They have a laundry on site.

Only stayed for one night, but the check in was quick, easy and informative. Room was spot less and cozy. Definitely would consider staying here again.

This is the second time I have stayed with my family at this lodge. It is extremely clean and tidy. It is well laid out. Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds and the kitchenette is well stocked with all that is needed. It is nice and quiet even though it is on the main road into Gisborne. I will definitely stay here again .

Its a lovely quiet area. Customer service was great, friendly and hospitable and very accomodating. I needed another park space for my wifes vehicle and the proprietor gave his one. Also my wife left behind a few items. I emailed them and they had it put aside and ready for my pickup the next day.

Studio unit with spa bath wasn’t cramped. Good size room and bathroom. Good basic facilities for a 4 night stay. Unfortunately not dog friendly as it has been in the past. No dog with us this trip but otherwise would be so won’t be back.
