The check-in experience was very poor. Despite the ******* documentation saying check-in was from 2pm-6pm and a sign on the reception door saying it was "open" from 8.30am-5pm, it was unmanned when we got there. Tried to ring them and the number went to voicemail. Luckily, we were able to buttonhole the cleaners, who got in touch with the manager. After waiting 25 minutes, he eventually turned up and blithely apologised, saying he didn't know when we'd be arriving (??). Most of the time thereafter, reception was unmanned. The room was also not serviced every day, but was generally clean when we got there and the kitchen appliances all worked. The soap holder in our shower was missing. The exterior of the property had a somewhat down-at-heel look. The vegetation was overgrown/unkempt and the property looked in need of a spruce up. Is situated on top of a hill, with some very nice views, but hard to get out of the driveway.
