As a family group of three we had a most enjoyable stay at Anaiki Motel at the end of July 2023. The gin deck on top of the limestone cliff is the best! We could sit out there for hours while the whales leapt about and dolphins swam past - wonderful. Ilona is awesome, very engaged with her customers and has a fascinating back story. The roosters were damned annoying.. there’s about a dozen of them and they compete with each other in the cockle doodle do department every morning starting at 4:30 am. Too much male testosterone. If Ilona could get rid of them the whole experience would be enhanced. But then I also understand they are her “family” along with the hens, rusty the cat and the various kittens with the weird facial features. On the whole I would be happy to go back..

Loved our stay at Anaiki Motel on our recent trip to Niue. The rooms were clean and tidy and it has an amazing viewing deck to watch the dolphins from. Short walk down to the Avaiki Caves which was our favourite swimming spot on the whole island. Hope to be back soon, thanks so much Illona & Norman!!

Anaiki Motel is located right in the center of the most beautiful part of the island, nearby the most famous seatracks thus still only 5 minutes drive from Alofi, the main village. The Avaiki caves are under the property with a direct access to the seatrack leads to it. Palaha cave is only 200 m North. Limu pools and other swimming holes, chasms also within close proximity.
The motel is on 6000 sqm land, surrounded with bush both sides and sea towards west. You can enjoy a spectacular sunset or sight of whales/ dolphins from our purpose built cliff-side lookout platform, or from our strategically located swimming pool with breathtaking views.
Anaiki motel is a privately owned small property of 4 units, each consists 1 bedroom, bathroom and open space kitchen and lounge area. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, and double sofa-bed / king single / or bunk bed in the lounge allows a maximum 2 adults + 2 children sleeping per unit.
All units are set up for self-catering. The kitchen and lounge are in open plan, with a wide sliding door opens to a large deck with extensive ocean view. The kitchen has fridge, microwave, double hot plate, bench oven, toaster, jug, and set up for 4 people. 32 television, clock radio, hair dryer and pedestal fans are in every unit. An onsite manager is on the property to provide you with advice and assistance for your bookings and inquiries during your holiday.
