My families and I (around 19 of us) decided to spend our new years holidays at this hotel. First to the positives. The hotel's swimming and slide facility is extra ordinary and one has to us the slides to truly feel the adrenaline raising moments. The family enjoyed this fully. A word of caution - the slides are not free even if a person pays for 19 guests! It is FJD10 per hour per adult. Still it us worth the entire experience which will now be a lifetimes memory. One star is for this experience. If you wish to use the slide, then I strongly suggest that you use the facilities as a day time exercise and stay else where. Secondly, the staff members Deepika, Pritesh, and Ratu were excellent in their customer service. They are a real asset of the hotel. The other star is for them. This hotel does not have a set menu. I asked on what will it be to cook 24 serves of BBQ for my family (only lamb chops, sausage, dalo, and salad) and I was quoted a whopping FJD25 per serve. In Tavu town a large BBQ serve costs no more than FJD7 per serve. There is no dinner or lunch menu and the prices quoted by Managememt to make relevant dishes is more than the 5 star resorts in the Coral Coast to Nadi area. I then asked on what the cost will be of using the hotels BBQ stand for 3 hours and I was quoted an unbelievable FJD250!!! I am posting the picture of this stand which is basically a gas operated metal plate. The hotel facilities are old and can do with a paint job. I was told that the hotel is fully booked. When we arrives a small family wad checking out. During the entire length of our stay, we were the only ones at the hotel and it was NOT "fully booked" ay all. The deluxe rooms are decent at best and the other rooms need good cleaning. This hotel is not recommended for accomodation unless it is an emergency situation.
