Okay little Motel with a nice room for a family. Great place if you want to explore the beach. A bit pricy for the quality though.
Needed to call the owners to get the room as they were away. Not okay when you're a foreign tourist and it costs 3 dollars a minute to use the phone.

The nicest people and a good location close to a few restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and a quick ride to the mountain or run if you feel up for it. Definitely do the hike for sunrise. Close to a bit grocery store and convenient to some takeaway spots as well. They offered me a beer as I ate my takeaway dinner and also gave me milk when I arrived plus a small bag of chocolate. Thoughtful details. Loved Tauranga and would come back in a heartbeat. I also forgot a necklance and they are sending it to me. TYSM

Very friendly and helpful proprietors. My laptop crashed, Katy suggested Geeks on wheels and they arrived within hour. Very good bed and gift of chocolates were much appreciated.

Quiet, residential location close to the beach. Lovely clean room, tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed, and great wifi. Everything spotless. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Loved the free washing machine and dryer. Close to a grocery store. Perfect for our stay in Tauranga.

Very handy to New World - walking distance, and walking distance to the beach. Very quiet, comfortable room. Would stay again.

We were in unit 2. Didn't notice much traffic noise. Close to shops and restaurants. Off-street parking.
Good basic motel.
A few minor inconveniences. Couch wasn't comfortable, cushion had a weird bump in it. Bed sheets were scratchy. Power plugs were not in convenient places e.g. expected to be next to bed but they were on the other side of the room so had to stretch cord across the room.

Very friendly welcome for our one night stay. Clean and well equipped. We were only a couple, but the unit had spacious accommodation for 4. Would be great for a family.

This is a well maintained property to a good standard. The only problem was on the first night of my stay the wi-fi became unusable. The second night it was okay.
