Destin Inn & Suites

Not worth the price!!! I paid half of my stay to secure the room, my total was around $305 before taxes. I get to the hotel and was told that they don't do deposits to take it up with who i booked with and charged me $400 which was way more than i was told was my locked in price through the app. The room has 2 full beds not queen, hair all over the bathroom, microwave and fridge had food in it. Floors were sandy. Nothing like what was pictured.

Great stay Everything was great, but we had trouble sleeping on the beds. Otherwise a great stay for 2 nights.

Truly not worth the money and I should've gone somewhere else with all of the choices around the area. The guy on night shift at the desk was VERY unapproachable, no smile and not even a hello....he just looked at me and waited for me to tell him I needed a room. Luckily I just needed somewhere quick to stay before a long drive. I stayed there about 6 hours at most and left itching all over my body with bumps. No washcloths in the room. Lights in the bathroom were flickering. When I went to check out I rang the bell and the guy eventually came about a minute later and clearly I woke him up from his beauty sleep because he was equally unapproachable...just took the key and said "that's it, you're good".

I traveled to Destin to visit my brother who was on vacation so I never really had planned this trip to be a vacation for myself, just wanted to spend quality time with my brother. I did know, however, that I would only be using the hotel to sleep so I was more focused on affordable prices when it came to hotels. Well, as they say, you get what you pay for. Let me first start with the positives: 1. They have a decent pool. Although I did not swim, I saw people enjoying themselves by the pool. The pool itself was a bit small but clean. 2. The TV in the room was big. After a long day of activities, I just wanted to crash on the bed and watch TV. I was pleased with my experience as the TV was large with plenty of channels. 3. Again, the price was great and gave me opportunity to spend the saved money on gas for the trip. Negatives 1. No breakfast and no diners close in walking distance. When I woke, I so much wanted to get fueled up on a cup of Joe, eggs, bacon, and toast. They only served coffee. The coffee was okay. They have an updated machine that serves a selection of different types of coffee, but I don't believe proper maintenance and restocking certain ingredients gets done often. 2. This isn't really a complete negative, but there were a few shady characters staying there. I might be just judgemental but it is what it is. Still, I never felt unsafe. 3. Parking absolutely ******. I got back at around 10 PM and I had to park at least 75 feet away from my room.

It was a safe and nice hotel for the price. We were a family of four with littles, there were a lot of families here.

Property was clean, easy check in, area seemed well taken care of and hotel was conveniently located
