We booked this condo through a third party (Southern Vacations). From the get go we had the best time ever. From the customer service at the condo to the third party assistance they provided an easy access and top of the line accommodations for us. The condo (806) was older but with the renovations completed recently you wouldn’t be able to tell. The amenities were great for a beach front condo. Will definitely stay again.

This was my first time booking a unit through VRBO and it was a hit!! I love the Breakers East because of the size and view!! You get a beachfront view and our condo is was very clean! I had no complaints! The people at the condo were very nice and it’s a great place to stay!

We have been traveling for 50 years. This is the most expensive & poorly maintained property we have experienced. The carpets were filthy & worn. We had ants. All the metal in the bathroom was rusty. We listened to a jackhammer for a week. Our friends left earlier than we did & went home. I could fill a page with complaints. They did have nice help. We rented it for a month, but we moved to a wonderful place down the beach & paid again. The description was nothing like the condo we stayed in. We will never again rent a condo in Destin unless we know someone who has experienced it. Let the buyer beware!

Everything about this property was amazing! We booked through Vrbo and the pictures are perfect - there is no special lighting or angles! The condo looks exactly as advertised. We requested (and paid for) early check-in via a quick phone call a few weeks in advance and our code worked for the door at 1 PM CT as promised. No lines or otherwise waiting for check-in! The condo smelled extremely clean when we opened the door and minus some sand on the floor (to be expected at a beach getaway), it was extremely clean! We had plenty of space in the kitchen and each bedroom and bathroom. There is TONS of storage in each bedroom and bathroom and plenty of clean towels. The kitchen is stocked with every gadget imaginable and the views from the balcony were unbelievable. We did not have any issues during our stay, but the property manager was very prompt to respond whenever we sent a text message. We checked out through a simple text message as well. My husband was able to easily walk to Dunkin for coffee and donuts! We also made plenty of Publix runs with relative ease. The beach never felt crowded even though it was spring break and the pool was definitely heated! We hope to make this a property that we return to year after year!

My husband and I visited Destin along with my parents, and we shared a rental condo in Breakers East for about a week. Each condo is rented by a different owner, so experiences probably vary! This is our experience. We had a little trouble getting into the door when we got there. We had to call the rental company to reset the electronic lock, but we were good to go after that! The on-site staff are not able to help with any of that, as the condos are individually owned...so make sure you have good contact info! The views of the beach are BEAUTIFUL! We were on the fifth floor, and the balcony overlooked the beach. It was stunning! The condo was very well-furnished, and it was nice to be able to cook our meals and have plenty of room to relax. The location was convenient to restaurants, shopping, and grocery. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

This place is run down,dirty floors in bathsrooms,When arived have waterhose out the front door,hanging down 2 floors had to get them to remove it, had water all on floor,they wipe up not very well,one of the elevators was broken and the one that did work was very slow.Room had a meldew smell. Will charge you for things after you,leave DON NOT STAY HERE.

Stayed in condo 606 booked via southern vacations stay away from them gave me a room with non functioning washer and dryer roaches and smelled I asked for refund and reported them to BBB they knew washer did not work and still rented condo to me

Great condo, fully stocked, beautiful views, and right on the beach with large balconies. Short drive to everything. My only complaint is one of the elevators was broken and the one that did work was very slow. There was always a long line so we ended up taking the stairs up 7 flights. Not fun especially since my husband is handicapped. It was on avg 10-20 minute wait and it was usually full. The beach was very clean and the attendants were great and helpful. We had a great time!
