Jingli Hotel is excellent, and the staff is super friendly and nice! There’s a 24-hour gym, but it only has limited equipment! There’s also a 24hours washing machine and dryer! Even though the room is kinda small but the amenities is great!

When I first walked through the doors of this beautiful hotel…I was shocked. It was like walking through heaven! The staff were so helpful in taking my suitcases, bringing them to my room, and helping me check-in smoothly. I was a little hesitant about not being able to have my room ready since I was checking in at 10am but they were so nice in making sure I had a room and they made this happen through upgrading my friend and I to a larger room! Not only did this make the stay even more enjoyable but the breakfast and pool were also amazing! My pool is huge and clean, but you must wear a swimming cap which they can give you at the front desk before you enter the pool! The pool closes at 11pm which is amazing if you’re a late night swimmer! Breakfast, on the second floor, definitely did not disappoint me as they had a great variety of western and Chinese breakfast. From hash browns, to bacon, to pastries, to fruits! You can definitely get full with this breakfast! I will definitely be coming again in the near future!

Stayed here previously in 2021 and the hotel was immaculate and the service was amazing. This trip I was excited to stay again but I was disappointed with the smell of smoke on our floor and in our room. Following my complaint to reception we were moved to a different floor and our room upgraded. The cleanliness was lacking and the room was a little grubby in places. The food was ok but I feel the attention to detail wasn’t the same as our previous visit. Previously we stayed in December and we were left snacks each day with notes from reception with tips for our stay and we were given a small Xmas gift on departure as a keep sake, it was a nice touch. I don’t feel the hotel price tag matches the experience. Disappointed 😔

We stayed at the Rosewood during the Golden Week. It is not the first time we are staying and I am always happy to see the hotel has managed to keep the consistency in their guest experience and hospitality. This is the place I go to when I need a staycation, a break from the daily routine. The highlight for me is the hotel pool, best hotel pool in Beijing if you ask me :). With a cosy set up: gym sauna spa yoga room. I had fun trying the new Fiture gym buddy. Never seen it in other hotels in Beijing. Our favourite restaurant is Country Kitchen, the best mapo tofu in town, sadly this time they ran out so we couldn’t have it but all the other dishes are absolutely yummy! Breakfast was also wonderful and with a wide variety of western & Chinese options. Cakes were yummy 🤤 , the lobby bar has a selection of gorgeous and tasty cakes, don’t miss out if you’re a sweet tooth! This is our favourite place to stay for a staycation in Beijing. Staff is lovely, quality of services and food are great. Rooms are clean, spacious enough & neat. Bathtub is gigantic! If you like to go out, check out Mei Bar. We had a drink view the nice views on the CBD city lights. Another point is that the hotel is pet friendly, they have a really cool set up for your furry friends. Will definitely come back!

Our 2-night stay in this hotel was awesome, very creative and artistic hotel, although slightly compact. Room’s lightings are with touch buttons and sensor lights for toilet and bathroom. Many units of washing machines and dryers is an added advantage. 3 AI to serve the guests. Staff is helpful and provided right information for our moving around. Very convenient to take light rail which is 200 m away and supermarkets and eateries are nearby. Convenient to travel to Housekeeping staffs are super efficient and friendly too. Room’s upkeeps are well managed.

GGuest UserMy husband and I wanted to stay in a hotel at night. I remembered that I had seen this hotel when I was pregnant, so we booked it temporarily. There is a special underground parking space for the hotel, so you don't have to worry about sun exposure in the summer. The front desk is on the first floor. We came at around 9 o'clock in the evening. The hotel called in advance to confirm. The two girls, Li Yueyi and Li Jianing, the front desk staff, received us very carefully and took us to the room to introduce some of the facilities and equipment in the room. We booked a garden deluxe king-size bed room, which is about 66 square meters. The room looks very clean. My husband likes the small garden outside and the Chinese feeling. I don't feel that there are many mosquitoes when I go out at night. It feels very quiet to sleep at night. The next day, I heard the staff introduce that there are a total of 34 rooms, each of which is 66 square meters, but the scenery outside is different. There are still many types of breakfast, both Chinese and Western. My husband also ate his favorite Spanish ham, which was sliced and eaten directly, and the taste was not bad. The hotel also gave afternoon tea and happy hour (dinner), and afternoon tea snacks were also rich. Generally speaking, if you want to relax and have a quiet rest, it is still a good choice. It is very close to Dongxiaokou Park and O'Shan North Park, and you can also take your children for a walk in the nearby park.

FFun4kidsIn this cold winter, we originally planned to drive to Shanxi to celebrate Christmas, but we were blocked by a sudden cold wave. On the spur of the moment, we decided to look for a cozy B&B around Beijing, so we chose the Sansan B&B Hotel and had a very satisfying vacation. This B&B hotel is located in the valley on the west side of the Mutianyu Great Wall. The original site was once a village tile factory in the local valley. In addition to producing black tiles for residential buildings, glazed tiles and roof tiles are also produced here. The entire building is mainly made of red bricks, and every corner and path is decorated with rich Chinese elements such as colored glaze, roof beasts, and ceramics. Sansan’s sense of space makes people linger. The tall doors and windows show a multi-layered view through the windows. The Yanshan Mountain and the Great Wall outside the window extend back layer by layer, forming a highly layered architectural structure. The design of the room is full of detail, and the color and lighting are very restrained. The furniture is solid wood color, the walls are made of Morandi gray, and the exterior walls are made of gradient Morandi tones, which perfectly blend with the surrounding natural scenery. There is no main light in the room, only bedside lamps and floor lamps, emitting warm yellow light, immersing people in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. Ethereal drums and tutorials are placed in each room. Although we are not good at playing, the children are very happy. What is particularly impressive is the oversized wash space, simple wash stand and mirror, and large bathtub, making people feel the ultimate comfort in it. As night fell and the bright moon hung high, we walked among the Great Wall, ridges and eaves, feeling the peaceful and wonderful moment. After nightfall, the white snow outside the window reflects the moonlight, integrating the indoor and outdoor areas, allowing the body and mind to connect, and fall asleep quietly and slowly. Sansan Hotel, with its small and intimate design, directly affects our vacation experience. Compared with large, useless and indifferent five-star hotels, Sansan's design has a more warm feeling. The service at the hotel is extremely warm. For the first time, we saw a waiter who called himself a butler. Starting from the parking lot, the enthusiastic uncle took the initiative to find the most convenient parking space for us. While parking the car, the housekeeper came out, accurately called the person who made the reservation by name, and took the initiative to help carry the luggage. Miaomiao at the front desk introduced the facilities and services in the room in detail, and gave welcome fruits, which was very considerate. When I encounter a problem, I just make a phone call and the housekeeper comes to the room to solve the problem within a minute. He also brings a bottle of mineral water, as if he is visiting with a small gift. When the children were soaking in hot springs outdoors, the staff was worried that the towels would get cold, so they put them on the radiator to keep them warm. The children wanted to take the paintbrushes from the activity center back to the room and continue painting, and the aunt in the activity center also fully supported it. These small details are full of warmth and care. Food is a vital part of the holiday experience. We chose Beiyuao Shabu Shabu, which belongs to the same group as Sansan Hotel, as our dinner venue. It is only 300 meters away from the hotel and in Beigou Village. This place serves one of the best shabu-shabu dishes I've had in Beijing. The taste is pure and the fermented bean curd in the sesame sauce has just the right flavor. What's more important is that the beef and mutton are very fresh. The meat slices are cut extremely thin and can be eaten in a few seconds. The tender taste makes the children want to stop. The vegetables are also fresh. The bean sprouts, cabbage, and chrysanthemum are crisp, tender and delicious when you bite into them. This kind of gourmet experience is indeed rare. The sesame cakes are small and exquisite, cut in half, and have a crispy but not greasy texture. They are one of the most delicious sesame cakes in Beijing. With the snow outside the window and the hot pot sizzling inside, the feeling of a winter vacation arises spontaneously. Sansan Hotel and Wachang Hotel complement each other, and breakfast is served at Wachang Western Restaurant. Particularly recommended is the Roujiamo. The buns are crispy, the braised pork is fragrant and glutinous, and paired with chopped green peppers, the mouthful is filled with deliciousness in one bite. The afternoon tea at Brickyard is equally amazing. The cheese in the red velvet cake is delicate and smooth, making it relaxing and enjoyable to taste. The small fruit plate is also full of details. The sweet-scented osmanthus sprinkled on the cantaloupe is like the setting sun on the Jinshan Mountain. It contrasts with the white snow under the Yanshan Great Wall outside the window, which is intoxicating. In the village where the hotel is located, we were also lucky enough to visit the Wa Art Museum. The stray cats in the village added a lot of fun to our vacation. The children bought ham sausages to feed the kittens and had a great time. Overall, this B&B hotel experience in Beijing is our family’s favorite so far. Whether it's the unique design, considerate service, or delicious food, we all had an unforgettable and enjoyable vacation.

The staffs barely speak english but some of them are very helpful to us, especially Ms. Li Siyu who has been incredibly helpful with everything and is very quick with the service, such as ordering a cab for us. She is also very polite and helps us with the little miscommunication happened in regards to the room change and we also got a complimentary free breakfast for 3 days due to this. Thanks a lot Ms Li, remarkable service! Room is spacious and very clean. The hotel lobby and corridor smells amazing. EExpatiRimWe recently stayed at the Crystal Orange Hotel in Beijing, and it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the customer service was amazing. When we encountered a minor issue with the tap, they efficiently and promptly changed our room. Plus, the adorable robot delivering our waimai (takeout) to the room was super efficient! The room itself was a haven of comfort. It was super clean and thoughtfully provided with everything we needed, including a steamer for our wrinkled clothes. The only small challenge was the light combinations – turning on the bathroom lights would trigger other lights in the room, making nighttime trips to the toilet a bit tricky without waking up my partner. But aside from that, the room was cosy, sexy, and elegant – the perfect blend. While the location isn’t very convenient for sightseeing, the Crystal Orange is conveniently close to a metro station. So, getting around the city was still manageable. I highly recommend the Crystal Orange to anyone visiting Beijing. Their exceptional service and attention to detail truly made my stay memorable!”

GGuest UserThe room was excellent: the bed was comfy, the lights were easy to turn on and off, there were outlets where there needed to be and even a wireless phone charger next to the beds, a comfortable well-lit desk and workspace, and a very spacious bathtub the faucets for which had a maximum hot water temperature that was perfectly set so that a bath couldn’t be too hot. The breakfast buffet was in a nice space and pretty good. The fitness center and pool are above average. The fitness center doesn’t include a sauna. Room service ordering can be done by WeChat, which is helpful since you can change the menu language to English. The location is close to a subway station and about a fifteen minute walk to the shopping and restaurant streets in Sanlitun. Mini bar items are not free and some amenities in other hotels such as fruit or snacks when you arrive at your room are not included.

GGuest UserStaff at Sofitel Beijing are welcoming and service level you can expect are on par with other 5 star international hotel brands around the world (although this is definitely not the case everywhere in China). There are numerous hotels in Beijing to chose from, but I have decided to come back to the Sofitel everytime, simply because I know I will get the same level of service and etiquette. A special shout out to Clarey and Leah for their professionalism and customer service which made my stay that much more enjoyable. The deluxe rooms are very very generally sized and the suites on the top floors have some of the largest floor space in my experience. One downside of a nice, fancy, modern decor is that it uses many different materials and does not hide general wear and tear well, leaving scratches and scrapes that looks worse than it is. Comfort level of the hotel is definitely the main draw card. Makes it difficult to want to leave the hotel. But the subway is a 5 min walk if you want to get around during peak hour to avoid traffic congestion, otherwise getting around with DiDi or taxis are fairly cheap where ever you go with the hotel’s location.

HHeibaidaodaodao🎬Opening remarks For my last family trip in 2023, I chose the Commune Hotel at the foot of the Great Wall^. The reason is actually very simple. Because it is Christmas, I want to take the children to experience the environment and weather that Christmas should have, so I chose to go into the mountains. . 🌳Environment The hotel is located in the deepest part of Yanqing Shuiguan Great Wall Shifosi Village, which is already deep in the mountains and old forests. The snow in downtown Beijing has melted, but here it still looks like it just finished falling. The accommodation areas are all villas in the woods, which are a bit primitive. So the scenery and air are very good, a bit like Gou Xiong Ridge in Xiong Da Xiong Er. Of course it’s also several degrees cooler than the city. 🏠Room type This time we stayed in a twin room with terrace and mountain view. There is a quite large balcony, and the mountain and snow views are particularly spectacular and beautiful. The room is quite large and the bathroom has a bathtub. The only drawback is that the two beds are not big. The temperature in the room was pretty good, but the bathroom had floor heating, which made my feet a bit hot. It's just that the room is relatively dry, so it's best to put a humidifier. 💁Facilities The service is good. It was a bit slow to check in. I found that the front desk had to manually enter the information. The system should be upgraded, which affected efficiency. However, the service staff are very friendly and their service attitude is also very good. There is a shuttle bus from the front desk to the check-in area, but you have to wait during peak hours. When I left, I gave the children small gifts🎁. 🥘Catering Breakfast is provided. The variety is not as rich as in a five-star hotel, maybe it has something to do with the snow in the mountains. There are a few good ones, such as honey, smoked salmon fat, Yakult, etc. It tasted good too, and the kids ate a lot. 🎭Activities There are not many children's activities here. There is a special children's activity center, but there are not many activities. If some activities can be organized, I believe there will be many more parent-child tours. 🏝TIPS ✅It is not far from the Great Wall and the Wildlife Park, so you can go there. ✅The weather is good and there is a Great Wall CityWalk, but it is a bit slippery now, so be cautious. ✅It is best to eat in a hotel, which is convenient but not cheap. Otherwise, just drive out to eat, there are also restaurants. ✅If you bring children, it is best to arrange the activities in advance. You can also play in the snow, but it’s too cold. ✅It feels more suitable for vacations, meetings, team building, and parent-child attributes. It is not too high.
