Horrible place, DO NOT GO. Trash everywhere, basically a homeless encampment. Terrible staff. Smells and you wont be able to trust your things, way better to sleep in car or under a bridge. Not kidding. You have a choice of a few dollars more for cheap hotel take it

Area was dark. Nobody answered the door. It was just a private home and very dingy. Very scary feeling. I want my money back.

Was absolutely what i needed. Basics and no headaches. I enjoyed the staff as they were polite and attentive to my needs. Will stay here again if i am in the area.

This is by far the worst hostel in the United States. The host is rude, and has no clue of how hostels are suppose to run. There so called free breakfast consists of eggs when available and coffee, both of which you need to make yourself. This hostel is in the middle of nowhere, and is the worth the money you spend, and during my stay I found I should have stayed at Motel 6 for the same rate. I received a private room the size of a closet with no air conditioning, and during the day it was 100+ degrees. The hostel does not have a TV in any of the common areas. They had a guest, probably an illegal alien, sleeping outside in a van, who did Meth in the property. The host and general manager both knew he was doing *****, but did nothing about it and states, "you will see people doing ***** wherever you stay." The difference is - when management knows they are doing them they do something about it. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The staff was very friendly. I liked the improvements to the property since the last time I stayed here 2 years ago. For a hostel in the desert it is very nice.

I stayed there twenty one days as a paying customer, and my stay was average the bunks don’t have much privacy, but for thirty five a night it is a steal! Honestly though when they say that prices are subject to change they aren’t kidding, after paying for 21 days I became a volunteer, the two on site managers Sarah and John, are very argumentative with customers and demoralize volunteers in front of guest. They expect you to work 8+hours a day for a $35 dollar bunk five days a week. The volunteers are expected to break laws and do construction projects we aren’t qualified to do they don’t get permits for projects there are many permit violations! (I do have pictures if needed to prove my point!) honestly the idea of a hostel is amazing but the managment is horrible and it is not a legitimate business! They have been black listed from multiple hostel website for there treatment of volunteers as well!

They cancelled my reservation for coachella here and on Airbnb since their prices were too low. Now they’re 3x the price. For anyone thinking of booking this place, think twice, you may be forced to find another (more expensive) reservation last minute.
