The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers a high-level kitchen with good service. The rooms are large and all with a large balcony. There is also a free parking. Very satisfactory experience

Great hotel and lovely atmosphere. All it was very good also the food. My children really enjoyed tge animation after dinner time. We had a departure quite early in the morning and they prepared for us 2 big breakfast. Wonderful service. I'll come back for sure.

We weren’t bothered that the hotel was described as dated, having read other reviews, as often that has its own charm in Italian hotels. Unfortunately this hotel isn’t run by Italians so that’s where the charm vanishes. Run by some very rude and arrogant men it is strange and inhospitable. We definitely felt uncomfortable as two women friends. The breakfast buffet was poor with limited choice and they have a strange practice of leaving all the dirty crockery etc until the very end of the service period. So you sit surrounded by dirty plates on all the tables.

We arrived late and the receptionist was awesome. Very helpful and fun, very carasmitic. The room was fun, the kids loved it. The cleaning could be better and the beadsheats were not cleaned propper and had a discusting stain from puke. But the cleaning boy fixed that and was nice about it.

The location on a traffic-rich axis is acceptable for unique stay at closed windows. The quality and equipment of the hotel is excellent. The same can be said for breakfast.

Look no further, because this boutique hotel is excellent. Its location is unbeatable (400 m way from Scaliger Castle) and the private beach is such a welcome feature. The hotel’s interiors and grounds are both manicured and beautiful. Rooms are super clean and spacious (we stayed in junior suite with a lake front). Beds and pillows are very comfortable. The views of the Lake Garda are so therapeutic. They would nurture your soul, while the thermal water pool (temp. 27 C) would rejuvenate your body. Add a 7-day Spa treatment into the mix, as we did, and you would be one relaxed and happy person. Service is top-notch. Nothing is a problem or a bother for the hotel’s personnel. Gloria, Francesca, Sofia, Gerardo and Alessandro, to name but a few, would resolve any of your requests/concerns with a genuine appreciation that you are on vacation and there to relax. Speaking of relaxation - this is an adult-only hotel. Patrons are sophisticated, private and pleasant. In short, this hotel, its staff and their hospitality may “ruin” other hotels for you. We visited Villa Rosa initially for one night, before exploring the rest of Lake Garda. We liked it so much that we returned to our same room for the last night of our trip. Rooms are very clean and as we had a junior suite this also had great views of the lake. Reception staff are very friendly and helped make out visit even more special. Free WiFi throughout the hotel, limited free parking (lots of paid parking also available). The breakfast is something else. Lots a lots of choice, all of the highest quality. This can be takes in their lovely dining room with views over the lake.Villa Rosa is perfectly situated opposite a popular beach and is within easy walking to Dezenzano main square and ferries.

Fabulous location, just off the main square and the bars/restaurants. Boats/ferry virtually on the doorstop, so never had to go too far if we didn't want to. Train station about 15 mins walk away, easier downhill, not so quick on the way up with bags! For some reason I was expecting a smaller family run hotel. It seemed to be much bigger than I expected and that 'family feel' was lacking unfortunately. Majority of the time there was no one at reception and other than one staff member (or family) the rest seemed pretty uninterested. The hotel room was brown and although had 2 windows, looked onto the back of the building making the room felt quite dark. It was quiet though as long as the windows were closed and the room was clean. A continental breakfast was included. We were there for a week and unfortunately after the first couple of days there was no fruit available and from day 3/4 most of the breakfast offerings were mostly gone at least half hour before breakfast ended, which led to a few disgruntled guests and a few leaving still hungry. Other than breakfast, we did eat at the hotel a couple of times. The food was nice, though I felt a bit overpriced. Service was good on the first occasion but pretty indifferent on the second occasion. It felt like the owners' priority was on running the restaurants, which were busy, both at lunchtime and evening. The hotel was very convenient but overpriced for what it offered...but then I guess we went peak time...! I don't think I would rebook the hotel if I was to go back to Desanzano.
