A few minutes by walk to the shore of lake garda. You can enjoy sunset at the restaurants nearby. Breakfast buffet is good too.

Overal a good experience at this hotel. Positive points: - very nice jacuzzi on the rooftop. You can reserve per half an hour slots. - very clean rooms - good location if you want to stay in the south of Garda - good breakfast, but many pies and cakes. I find it difficult to understand why Italians eat that at breakfast. There are many other options served though, therefore this doesn’t pose an issue. Negative points: - no fridge in the room. Especially during hot summer it’s difficult - booking said parking included for free but that’s not true. There is parking down the street and that’s what they actually mean. Their own parking garage is 50€ a night. I don’t find it correct that this isn’t advertized correctly. I heard several guests complain about this. It would be better to communicate this correctly. - their elevator is really scary. It’s old and doesn’t feel safe. Sometimes you also have to wait more than 5 minutes for it to arrive. You also can’t take the stairs as alternitive- we searched but couldn’t find another way to the rooftop. Besides these few negative points the hotel is actually great. I would recommend it as the room is nice, clean & with a balcony where you can relax.

It was a pleasure to be welcomed by the staff at Hotel Berta. A central location which made getting into both Desenzano del Garda and Sirmione easy via the nearby transport links or rental of their e-bike service. The hotel itself was clean and well looked after by the warm and welcoming staff who could not do enough for you. We especially enjoyed the rooftop hot tubs overlooking the beautiful lake and the poolside Aperol Spritz accompanied by an array of snacks. Each morning saw an assortment of breakfast buffet items with no shortage in catering to each individuals needs. If you are looking for an authentic Italian getaway to relax and unwind then we would definitely recommend Hotel Berta. Thank you for looking after us so well.

Stayed here with my husband and used the public transport to and from Desenzano and Sermione. The bus timetable was a good basis but not to be relied upon. Most guests staying here had their own or hired a car. The accommodation was very clean, the staff very accommodating. There was plenty of choice available at Breakfast. We used the pool which was clean and cold but we needed to cool down with daily temps hitting 27/29. We visited the roof terrace on the last day to see what view was on offer and found it empty. We therefore added our names to the availability and returned to enjoy the hot tub and the peace and quiet too.
