This was our first time visiting The Westin with our parents and kids. We booked three rooms and requested three baby cots, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were incredibly friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance.
We’re truly grateful for the excellent service and hope the team continues to maintain these high standards. We’ll definitely be back for another visit!

Had a very good staycation for 1 night here with my sister. Thank you to the team who arranged the cake and little decorations for my sister's birthday. Truly appreciated it 🙏.
Check in& check out process was smooth. Breakfast was packed , luckily we did go around 8am.
There are 2 things that disappointed us.
1)The bar at the lobby. We asked the staff if we could bring in outside food but we would like to order drinks from the bar. We know that outside food is not allowed but nothing wrong to ask.
The staff informed us no but we saw there is a foreigner family who bought pizza hut sitting at the bar with family.
2) The smell of pillow cases and duvet. All 4 pillows and duvet had a sour smell that didn't fully dry.
Overall was good , 7/10 👍

It was a great stay at Westin Desaru. The hotel was sprawling and rooms were very nice and clean. Although you can see that the hotel has aged, some parts I.e. the hotel cupboard laminate is dropping off but overall it is still quite pleasant. The breakfast was great but due to high occupancy the restaurant was overwhelmed. Food couldn't come fast enough and there were many empty food displays. Egg station is always long queue. Feels quite chaotic but the staff is always smiling and trying their best to accommodate. Hotel pool was nice and the staff at the rooftop pool was very hospitable. Made us feel right at home. Overall a nice property to come spend the weekend for a quick getaway.

Room is big (2 queen beds seaview) but looks old and has a damp smell the moment we enter the room. chair has a stain and carpet looks dirty. should provide with better quality bedroom slippers.
Breakfast was ok; could be better in terms of variety. too many sweet stuffs.
Service was excellent. Resolved the smell issue we experienced immediately by placing an air humidifier in the room.
Overall, a little disappointed for the price we paid.

The sea was clean and beautiful but sadly could not swim , the red flag was there for the entire stay. And we were discouraged to enter sea.

2nd time staying and completely in love with the hotel. Friendly staffs. Pools are all open. Perfect place to relax and wind down. Lovely decorations and cake from hotel for birthday celebration.
