The welcome was lovely & room so beautifully equipped. It felt cosy & decadent, well appointed & beautifully clean. The balloons & rose petals were a lovely touch for my husbands special birthday, thank you.

Everything within the room was pure quality. Lovely balcony and hot tub. A lot of thought and expense has been put into making the room and facilities both perfect and a pleasure to stay in. There is road noise from below the balcony, but that wouldn't stop us staying there again.

If you want to go somewhere with a comfortable bed, room that has a homey feel to it, super clean and incredible food, you have come to the right place. There is also a Japanese hot tub right outside your window where you can have a relaxing bath in and enjoy the joys of nature. I absolutely loved it here and the staff were very kind. I will be coming back again.

Lovely spot, we had a great stay and the food at the restaurant was unreal - will definitely be back. Proposed to my girlfriend here too so it was a special one for us.

We stayed here for one night in June to celebrate my partners birthday with our 1 year old daughter. Everything was amazing! Room was so spacious clean and all high quality. Very accommodating with fabulous travel cot also. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again. The adjacent pub Bowling Green was excellent, warm and welcoming. Staff were all super friendly and went to extra lengths to mark the occasion.

Nice room and clearly quite newly decorated/not been there long? Provided all that we would have expected in the room and more eg complimentary soft drinks as well as nice tea bags and coffee machine. My husband enjoyed the hot tub. I didn’t go in! Lots of room to put clothes etc. comfy bed. TV at end of bed but it didn’t lower. Not sure if mechanism broken or purposely not set up in case people played with it? We didn’t ask staff. Light and airy room as double aspect with big balcony and above the 2 suites on the ground floor. So no noise from other rooms which was bliss. I would recommend. Not cheap but I would prefer to pay a bit extra for comfort and cleanliness. (I have sometimes been disappointed and paid a lot!) So all in all a good experience.

We recently had a fantastic stay in one of the junior suites. Everything was perfect, and the Japanese hot tub was the icing on the cake. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Stables to friends and family and will certainly return again at some point.

The room is really lovely and the Japanese bath was nice for my boyfriend but with my health condition I couldn’t get in it because it’s not very accessible. The bath was also a bit overlooked but not too bad. Everyone we had interactions with were really lovely the staff are absolutely fantastic. Really accommodating helpful and kind. I do feel like the cost is overpriced though considering breakfast isn’t included in the cost of the room. We paid £460 for two nights which I do think is really steep. Like I say though the room is nice, it’s a big bed, air con because it gets pretty hot in there and everything was very clean. There’s also a little fridge with complimentary water, milk and coke which was incredibly welcome. I would stay again but only if there was an offer on, I think they do 25% off for midweek stays so we’d lean more towards doing that.
