Stay here 4+ times a year to visit family hotel is central . We have stayed here for 10+ years. Hotel is spotless beds and pillows very comfortable( I bought premier inn bed for home) staff are so lovely and a credit to this hotel, nothing is too much trouble no matter how busy they are they always make sure everything’s good for you, the chef Adam if he sees us has a chat to see if we’ll be having dinner or breakfast. I won’t go anywhere else when visiting derby. The friendly staff the location and the comfort of the rooms 10/10

Thank you to all the staff (Rylan, Pat, Kim, Josh, Millie, Cian, Samara, Lucy) for making my regular stay over the last year whilst at Uni placement. Everybody has been accommodating and friendly over 11 month period, and resolved any difficulties if experienced. Best wishes Ben

We could not have stayed any where better for our visit to Derby. This hotel is right in the centre, very close to the cathedral and within easy walking distance of all the museums, art gallery, restaurants and cinemas. In spite of that, it is extremely quiet; there was no noise from guests or from the road outside. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly and Aggie met us every morning at breakfast with a smile and remembered what I liked to order. The carpark is a mere 5 minutes walk away, is completely secure - no-one can get in without the carpark pass - simple to operate and cheap - remember to get your pass validated at reception for the discount and staff will look after your luggage at arrival and checkout to save your carrying it. Ignore all the moaning minnies - this is a great place to stay.

The staff were very friendly throughout my visit. The room was very clean. My room was on the front of the hotel overlooking the main road but it was extremely quiet and comfortable. wifi was slow but acceptable for checking emails. Car parking is offsite , but it was only about a 5 minute walk and price was good. Would happily stay there next time I visit.

Have stayed at this hotel many many occasions and even checked website before leaving! Upon arrival headed straight to the very secure car park over the road. BEWARE IT IS CLOSED BOARDED UP AND HAS BEEN FOR SOME TIME!! Very inconvenient of hotel not to inform residents or potential residents but that would loose them customers!! Nearest discounted car park is 8/10 minutes away!!! We arrived at 14.45 and they insisted on paying the £10 premium, so we sat it out and decided no spends what so ever in the establishment, and will never visit again due to that and the car park….. never heard of loyalty….
