Tha staff we're friendly very helpful. The place spotless. There's not a lot more I can possibly say but I'll be back and I would recommend this travelodge too anyone.

First room allocated and the tv didn’t work but staff kindly moved me to another room. Unfortunately the next morning at 8:30am there were workmen in the corridor replacing the ceiling tiles so there was loud hammering, drilling and sawing. The hotel manager refunded me 1 night stay but I don’t understand why they would use the rooms if there was repairs going on. Leaving the room I had to step over paint pots and tools.

Rooms are good but the service was terrible. Tea/coffee cups were not cleaned for days and left the dirty cups in the bathroom for 4 days. Room keys keep getting deactivated every day. Breakfast has no baked beans for 2 days out of 4 days stayed. Overall breakfast quality want great at all

Excellent service, great staff..would recommend anyone to stay..I will be revisiting in the near future..thank you a great stay..couldn't do enough for me as I am wheelchair bound..rooms are immaculate also food is bang on..nice draft beers too..

Just looking for somewhere to rest and relax between our visit to Derby and onward journey to Matlock. Excellent value for money room fresh and clean overlooking the cricket ground and a wonderful sun rise.

Staying for almost 3 weeks can be a lot of time to be in a hotel bedroom away from your home. However, every one of the staff travel at Lodge Derby cricket ground made us feel at home they couldn’t do enough. They always had a smile and it felt more like helping friends than just Clients walking in and out.

Maybe we were unlucky but over our two rooms we had damaged walls, scruffy chairs, non-functioning room air conditioners/heating, outside wall running with condensation, broken shower and filthy bathroom and extractor fan - it appeared to have a 'growth' about to come out into the bathroom. Both rooms on floor 2....
