We have just enjoyed a wonderful 2 nights. The water park was the absolute highlight for my 6 year old daughter. The room was warm and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The vegetarian options were limited for us but vacation housekeeper 小陈 went above and beyond to ensure we were well cared for, even arranging a food delivery for us. Overall a great experience. Would highly recommend to anyone with young children

This hotel has good reviews. I happened to bring my elderly and children to play nearby and wanted to experience it. Overall, it is very good. The waiter warmly welcomed us as soon as we entered the door. We arrived relatively late. Although it was a holiday, we were upgraded to a deluxe king room for free. We were also given snacks and toys for children. They asked if we drove and were exempted from parking fees. Although it was close to the road, it was relatively quiet, but one thing I want to complain about is that the air conditioner in the room is a bit loud. There is still a clattering sound when it is turned on to sleep mode, which made it impossible to sleep. Later, we simply turned it off. The sound insulation is also average. It may be because there are more children during the holidays. We were tired after a day of playing, so we went to bed early, but from time to time there were children making noise in the corridor, and it was a bit stuffy without the air conditioner on, so we didn't sleep well at night. However, this seems to be a common problem in most hotels. If you are not very sensitive to sleep, it is not a big problem. The breakfast is also good, with Chinese and Western food, and everything you should have. The service is not overly enthusiastic. Overall, this price is very cost-effective.

I went out on New Year's Day and randomly chose a hotel. I didn't expect it to be a bit pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in the city center, which is very convenient for going out for meals. There are parking spaces at the door and inside, which is very good. The guard condition is particularly worth mentioning, very clean and comfortable. The only small suggestion I want to make is that the hot air of the air conditioner is a bit slow to come out, especially when I haven't taken a shower during the day, I feel very cold. The design of the Siheyuan is very unique, and it is very pleasantly surprised for those who like Chinese style. There are a lot of green plants in the whole yard, and there are ponds around it with many fish. The boss saw us filming a video and enthusiastically gave me a handful of fish food for me to feed the fish so that my video would not be too embarrassing. Hahaha, because we came during the off-peak season, there were only a few of us tourists living in the whole yard. There were not many people around and it was very quiet. The yard was hidden behind a residential building, and there was a different world behind the small door. We lived in a duplex room, which was just right for three people and not crowded. The room was full of the smell of wood because it was a wooden structure. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast was very delicious. The boss cooked porridge and other snacks early in the morning, and the pickles were pickled by the boss himself. They were so delicious that I wanted to buy some to take home, but it was a pity that they could not be preserved for a long time, so I gave up the idea. This resort was the perfect getaway for my family. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, bamboo forests, rivers, and tea plantations, it was the picture of serenity and calm. A perfect family resort with great facilities and play areas for my son and relaxing seated areas for adults to relax whilst the kids enjoy themselves. The staff here is super friendly and helpful and the food and bbq areas are great. Look forward to visiting again in the future.

During this 21-day trip, I stayed in 18 hotels. Zhimagu was my favorite, no doubt. Before booking, I was worried that the facilities of the 2017 hotels would be outdated. After all, I like new hotels within a year. However, after traveling around Moganshan, it was already the National Day holiday. Zhimagu was surprisingly not overpriced. Other hotels were at least two or three times overpriced, but Zhimagu was the same price as usual. I booked this hotel with the idea of saving costs, but it was beyond my imagination. As soon as I entered the lobby, I felt like I had stepped into Alice's Wonderland. There were 61 rooms with 61 decoration styles. The housekeeper Xiaoyu was also very nice and helped me get my luggage. Li took me to visit the three rooms that were not booked out, and let me choose to stay according to my favorite style. It was a surprise~ Xiaoyu was also very considerate to remind me of the precautions every day~♥️
The hotel has three large lawns, and it was so happy to groom the dog. The hotel is pet-friendly and it is not just a gimmick~ First of all, there is no cleaning fee for pets, and secondly, the restaurant can also bring pets. The housekeeper brother and sister, the restaurant brother and sister held my sister and took all kinds of photos hahaha~

Well kept and managed hotel close to hiking tracks through bamboo coated mountains. Absolutely no complaints about the hotel itself, great value, friendly staff and good food. The breakfast was suitable for vegetarians, which worked out great for us. The one thing to be careful of is that the village this hotel is in doesn't have a great amount of public transport to get you to other places other than a very time consuming bus. If your Chinese is good enough, you might be able to convince a taxi to come get you, but they'll ask for a bit more due to the location. However, if you just want to relax, hike and explore the local mountains (there is a dam you 'can' swim in, and a waterfall within 3km), it's a great place.

During the summer vacation, I traveled around with my partner. The last stop before going abroad was Mogan Mountain. The air in Mogan Mountain is really good, much cleaner than in the city. I felt that my whole body was purified. I didn't climb Mogan Mountain because it was too hot. I just visited the attractions near the B&B. In general, the price of food, accommodation and transportation is cheaper than other attractions in China, and the cost performance is high!

YYaroslav19The hotel is located on a hill in a bamboo forest. There are no neighbors around, so in Arcadia you can enjoy nature and relax from the city noise. A vacation in Arcadia is perfect for groups of friends, families, with you love or alone.
The room is spacious, bright, well-ventilated, the bed is large, our room had a balcony overlooking the valley. There are many places to relax, 2 Jacuzzis and a large swimming pool.
We were delighted with the food! Even we foreigners really liked the Chinese cuisine in this hotel. The European cuisine and the serving of dishes are great, we have never seen this level in other hotels. The ingredients in the dishes are fresh and of good quality.
Besides the good food, Arcadia also has the best service among all the hotels we've been to. Thanks Terry for that! The staff is friendly and helpful. We were greeted and escorted off as good friends.
The owner of Arcadia Ernest is a hospitable, kind and interesting person with excellent English. He gave us a tour of the hotel, showed us hiking trails with wonderful views of the tea plantations and the valley, and told us many stories about the hotel and the surrounding area.
On our next trip to Shanghai, we will definitely plan a visit to Arcadia!

GGuest UserWe spent a short summer vacation in Mogan Mountain. Before our trip, we spent hours looking for accommodation and decided to try this guesthouse based on the many positive reviews. Indeed, our decision was correct. A local couple runs the guesthouse; they are both very welcoming and ensure guests' stay at their guesthouse is as enjoyable as at home. The guesthouse is located at the foot of Mogan Mountain, ten more minutes walking distance to Moganshan Town. It is also convenient to hike up Mogan Mountain from the guesthouse. By the way, this guesthouse accepts foreigners. During our stay, the hostess always made sure we had enough breakfast and kept adding to it. Back to the guesthouse in the evening, she invited us to taste the local beers and insisted on no charging; we were appreciated and touched by her enthusiasm. We had lunch at the guesthouse before checking out. They prepared food ingredients on the day or a day before, so we needed to book in advance with the owners. The food prepared by the male host is delicious; it is better than the restaurants outside, and the price is reasonable. Before leaving, the couple enthusiastically gave us some local chicken eggs to take home. Based on our staying experience, as foreigners, we highly recommend this guesthouse to those who are planning a vacation in Mogan Mountain. It is an ideal accommodation.

We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. Jinx is the girl at the front desk and she is very kind, always going the extra mile for us, even sending us locations and attractions close by on wechat. If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

Families and friends may find the bathrooms a little too exposed, or a hassle to lower the blinds everytime you need to use the bathroom. The room was not serviced daily, which was not a problem - but it would have been nice to have the bin emptied on a daily basis. The hosts are happy to provide an evening dinner - a selection of fresh vegetables and some meat dishes. Breakfast was a simple Chinese one - no complaints. We were there in early October and enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel is a little removed from the main Moganshan settlement and a Didi/taxi service from the hotel is limited. A pleasant 20-minute walk down to the main junction would bring you to a couple of restaurants, a shop and a much better chance of getting a taxi. The host was very kind to drive us all the way to the Deqing West railway station, as we could not get a Didi/taxi. He refused to take any payment from us. A very kind gesture indeed!

The breakfast in the hotel was also very clean and sufficient, including yogurt, small meat buns, porridge, etc. The family was very satisfied and said that they would continue to choose this B&B next time.

They greet you at your car with umbrellas when it’s raining and carry your luggage into the hotel. They stored our drinks in the main fridges and served them to us in the pool with snacks and ice buckets.

AASmithWhat an amazing little find! The homestay is located about a 10-12 minute easy walk from the Moganshan transfer bus station (92 rmb for a trip up and down) and a 20 minute walk into Howou Village proper. The room was simple, clean and had everything you needed. I loved doing yoga on the balcony each morning and seeing the mountains and smelling the fresh air. The area is very rural, quiet and peaceful. The owners are so friendly to foreigners, helpful and accommodating. They made the most delicious breakfasts and dinners for us. We will definitely go back. The only down was I could not get hot water into the bathtub but that might have been user error. If your didi drops you on the main road, walk up the hill to the second level of houses and turn left on the driveway. The homestay is white and directly behind the swimming pool. What a perfect getaway to relax. Oh and the beds are not the hardest I’ve slept on in China but they are not Western, just in case you needed to know :)

YYuwanmmmI didn't go far away during this short holiday. I stayed in Moganshan for a few days and stayed in a heart-warming homestay that had been lying in my favorites for a long time🤩
🏨Moganshan Cloud9 Clouds Homestay
☁️Located in Dazaowu Village, there are large rice fields surrounded by mountains in front of the homestay, as if stepping into the cartoon world depicted by Hayao Miyazaki, romantic and healing.
☁️There are only 9⃣️ rooms. I stayed in Wuxiao, which has a sunken bathtub🛁 and you can enjoy the joy of bathing in natural spring water
☁️Two super large terraces are backed by bamboo forests, overlooking the mountains and fields, and there is an outdoor swimming pool hidden in the bamboo forest (see my picture)
☁️There is a restaurant in the homestay, and the farm dishes made by the aunt are very delicious👍I tasted the delicious local chicken soup here😋

失失忆的黑兔子The location of the hotel is easy to find, just take the shuttle bus and transfer to the Baiyun Mountain Pavilion, a very unique building. I was lucky enough to upgrade to a suite that day. The room was very clean and the scenery outside the room was beautiful, surrounded by pine and bamboo. In the morning, I could be awakened by the sound of birdsong in the mountains.
By the way, I settled for lunch at the hotel at noon. The taste is good. The chicken soup is very delicious. I also received a souvenir when I checked out. It was a pleasant and unforgettable trip~
