Luhuadang Hotel

It rained easily on the mountain, and there was nowhere to dry my wet clothes. Everything else was fine.

This Mid-Autumn Festival, I specifically booked the 88A Naked Castle View Room at Luhuadang Hotel, which allowed us to drive up the mountain. It was perfect for moon gazing at night, and then watching the sunrise through the misty morning – absolutely stunning! The hotel was also very considerate, and the front desk service was excellent. We wanted to play billiards late at night, and although it closed at 10 PM, we didn't notice the time. The staff actually waited an extra half hour for us, which we felt quite bad about, but they were so kind! We will definitely consider staying here again next time we visit Moganshan!

Traveling during the Mid-Autumn Festival, we took a high-speed train and then a taxi up the mountain. After having a meal in Yucun, the hotel contacted us in advance to provide directions and even gave us free scenic area tickets... They upgraded our room to a suite in the Chen Yi Building, which was wonderful 😊! It's an old house, but it's well-equipped, and the service is thoughtful and responsive. I was a bit worried it might be damp or have a musty smell, but that wasn't the case at all. The balcony offers a view of the sunrise and overlooks Naked Castle in the distance... The breakfast provided was also good... It would be more convenient if you could drive yourself, as it is on a mountain. Although it's quite close to the shuttle bus stop and Luhua Dang Park, walking up and down the slopes, even for a short distance, can be a bit tiring 😂.

I stayed at the Luhuatang Hotel in Moganshan for two nights in the middle of this month, and the experience was fantastic. We stayed in building 76, which had a beautiful environment, clean rooms, and complete facilities. We mostly ate at the "Caigenxiang Restaurant" on the second floor of the main building, and the food was very much to our liking. The hotel service was also excellent, always accommodating our requests. If I have the chance to visit Moganshan again, I will definitely stay at Luhuatang Hotel.

Looking for a summer escape to Moganshan, I chose the Luhuadang Hotel based on its 'clean and tidy' description on Ctrip. To my surprise, upon arrival, I discovered that the Luhuadang Hotel accommodations are actually spread across beautifully arranged villas scattered around the Moganshan mountain top. This time, the staff kindly upgraded me from a forest view room to a smart view room. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with a large open-air terrace. In the evening, my friends and I enjoyed tea, chatted, watched the sunset, and admired the moon from the terrace, taking in the faint lights peeking through the distant and nearby bamboo groves. It was truly delightful.

I stayed in room 96B, a twin room that was quite spacious. The decor was modern with a Japanese touch, which was very comfortable. The hotel management was excellent overall, though it was a bit disappointing that the swimming pool wasn't open on May 20th due to heavy rain. Looking forward to my next visit!

Traveling with my parents, they absolutely loved the Republican-era architecture. The terrace view is stunning, perfect for photos. To combat the damp mountain air, the electric blankets on the beds were turned on in advance, which was a very thoughtful touch. The service attitude was also excellent; my parents were very satisfied! I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Got a free upgrade to a loft, and Building 88A had an absolutely amazing environment! The large balcony overlooked Naked Castle, and the hotel service was spot on. A truly fantastic stay!

The tourism bureaus in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai are truly exceptional, far surpassing those in the North. The homestays on Moganshan are well-equipped with various amenities and facilities; it's very convenient for tea, coffee, handicrafts, and dining. The only thing to note is that your visit can be heavily affected by the weather, so be sure to check the forecast beforehand.
