Best place to watch the sunrise over Meili Snow Mountain. Attentive staff with a beautiful room, with an awesomw view. There is a stairway that leads to the Feilaisi viewing platform. If you are travelling with an elderly like me, good to check out which rooms to avoid stairs. We were lucky to be upgraded to the suite, which came with a beautiful view. However, there was a flight of stairs. The lobby staff can buggy you up, then you can. climb down instead of up the stairs. A premier location which costs much more. If you just need a simple clean place to stay, in order to catch the sunrise, there are many more affordable choices just next to this hotel.

The room was clean and tidy, with good water pressure, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a viewing platform. Of course, I came here just for the delicious food. I ordered dishes as soon as I arrived. The boiled beef was served and the smell was delicious without using chopsticks. The beef was very tender. The chili was very fragrant but not very spicy. It also took care of those who can't eat spicy food. I later added vegetables that were grown by the owner himself and tasted very fresh. The mapo tofu was really yyds. Use a spoon! Use a spoon! Use a spoon! It was so tender that it broke when the chopsticks were picked up. The stir-fried meat with black fungus was also great. The braised meat in the beef noodles was really delicious. The feeling after eating was that the cooking skills were really good. We didn't need to recommend any dishes after eating. I also know how to cook a little bit. Although I'm not a professional, I can see that the boss's cooking method is still very delicate. Here I mean that a lot of technical equipment is used to process the ingredients. In short, it's really great. In addition, on the menu of Yubeng with such good taste, ordinary dishes are only 38-68 average, which is really cost-effective, especially their portions are not discounted. By the way, there is a small heater under the dining table hahaha, and the hiking pole is only 5 yuan/day. The perfect journey memory has come to an end. Very satisfied! The room is very clean! Very cost-effective! The boss is very enthusiastic and keeps giving advice to friends who come to Yubeng for the first time. He lent us a hiking pole and patiently helped us find the way. In the end, he was very responsible and arranged for someone to send our leftovers to Lijiang. 10 points! The first choice for hikers to Yubeng!

The room is not big, but it has an unbeatable view of the Meili Snow Mountain. Next to it is the fourth-floor terrace, which is very convenient for taking photos. The breakfast is particularly rich, and there is also exquisite afternoon tea. You can use ******* clothes for free, and the waiters will be very considerate to help you put them on. In short, it is a very good choice.

This time, I stayed in Meili and went down the mountain. The experience was really full! Driving from Songtsam Linka to the hotel, we crossed mountains and ridges all the way, and the highest altitude reached 4,000 meters. Fortunately, I prepared the Bestcon oxygen concentrator in advance. Arrived at around 4 pm, and a hot towel was handed to us as soon as we entered the hotel, which warmed our hearts. The front desk supervisor Zhuigaram enthusiastically introduced the hotel to us, and then we went to the 4th floor to enjoy afternoon tea. There were floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, and we could see the magnificent scenery of the 13 peaks of Meili. This experience was amazing! When we left, Zhuoma Laci saw us off and thoughtfully prepared a souvenir knot for the children. The little guy was very happy. The knot had a beautiful meaning and added a warmth to this journey. The staff here are simple and kind, and it feels like being blessed by the sacred mountain. Thanks to the gift of nature, I saw the sunset and the sun shining on the golden mountain, and my heart was full of joy. After that, there is a 3-day 2-night Yubeng hiking trip. The young couple who went with me said that the guide who went down the mountain was very professional, which made me look forward to coming back next time. Meili Mountain is really a place you don’t want to leave once you come, and you want to come again after leaving!

Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly situated in town, offering breathtaking views right from our room (for sunset and sunrise see photos). The location alone makes it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The owner even parked our car right in front of the hotel. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was smooth thanks to a translation app. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we appreciated their warm and accommodating attitude. The only downside was that our room was quite cold until the heating started working in the evening. Overall, despite this small issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a scenic and welcoming place to stay in the Meili Snow Mountains!

The most satisfying hotel in the entire Shangri-La trip. I personally think that Meili Shanju is better than Songzan Linka! The hotel public areas and rooms use a lot of wood for decoration, especially the rooms, almost all wooden furniture, very textured, the room lighting is also very warm, at night the whole room is very homely, very comfortable to live in! The deluxe mountain residence king-size bed room booked is very large, it is a small suite with a small living room, a bedroom, and a separate small balcony. The balcony window faces the Meili Snow Mountain, and the view is excellent! The dinner in the hotel's Chinese restaurant is a set meal, and the product of 350 per person is very amazing and cost-effective! Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, the taste of the single items is great, and the handmade noodles and rice noodles taste great! The afternoon tea is a little simple, and all the service staff of the hotel are enthusiastic and professional. When checking in, they will send a pair of handmade cloth shoes for guests to change into, full of ritual! The Arc'teryx store in Meili Shanju also has more styles than the Songzan Linka store!

Kim’s Youth Hostel is located in the backyard of Lower Yubeng and offers private ensuite rooms with basic shower amenities. It is about 5 mins walk to the main stretch of restaurants and shops at Lower Yubeng and 10mins walk to the transport pickup area (to Upper Yubeng/ Ninong Village). The room offers some views of the valley but is partially obstructed by buildings in front of it. Breakfast starts after 7.30am but our plans started earlier. We didn’t get the breakfast but chose to buy a 35rmb sandwich instead. The accommodation does not provide bottled water. Instead, there is a filtered water dispenser at the lobby/dining area to refill your bottles.

I live very comfortably and comfortably. The restaurant next door is his. The owner is from Guangzhou, so many Guangzhou flavors are very suitable for me. Yubeng is often rainy and humid, so it is very comfortable to have a fire in the restaurant. The boss is very kind, I will come again next time I have a chance
