Personally think this hotel has the best view for Meili mountain (梅里雪山), very modern looking hotel with a cozy lobby and customer service, especially big thank to 小杨, 文文, 小张, 宁宁 for the superb care and hospitality - thanks for the surprise cake for my wife’s birthday, and we both love the little gift too, so sweet of you all. Best thing of the stay of course is the billion dollar view of 日照金山, we were so lucky to capture from our own eyes, they say one will get a full year LUCK once seen 日照金山, we were thrilled! By the way, hotel were clean with good quality toiletries and towels, they even have a Dyson hairdryer in the room. Will be happy to come back someday in the future!

The rooms are well maintained and don't feel old. Each room has a balcony specifically for viewing the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain. Although I didn't see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain, I heard the monks chanting in Feilai Temple in the morning and felt the boundless power of Buddhism.

After a long struggle between Feilai Temple and Wunongding, I chose Wunongding, which has few people. After struggling among the few hotels in Wunongding, I chose this one. I happened to stay in Xiaohan Room 302 on Xiaohan Day, which proved to be the best choice. The hotel has a very good sense of design, and it was even more amazing when I walked into the room! The room is extremely large and tidy. The balcony is the reason why I chose it. With fresh air entering the room, the altitude sickness will be reduced. After checking in, I knew that I had altitude sickness, so I turned on the oxygen machine as soon as possible, and then afternoon tea was delivered, which was very exquisite. I felt much better while breathing oxygen and looking at the snow-capped mountains outside. The handsome guy in the hotel (I don’t know if he is the boss), the girl at the front desk, and the people in the kitchen are very good. We highly recommend staying in Yolo Guesthouse if you are staying overnight at Upper Yubeng Village. The owner and staff of the guesthouse was very friendly, helpful and informative throughout our stay. We connected through WeChat prior to arrival and liaised with the guesthouse for transport from Lower Yubeng to upper Yubeng. The transport was included in the reservation. On arrival in the afternoon, the staff introduced and escorted us to a nearby restaurant for lunch even though it was drizzling. The guesthouse is strategically located to have views of the valley downstream and upstream. The building structure is sturdy and well designed compared to many other accommodations in the villages. The interior of the room and the rooftop coffee bar is beautifully designed and clean. They also have Dyson hairdryer and Smeg electric kettle. Coffee at the rooftop bar was decent but it was accompanied by amazing views of the valley. We were the only ones at the rooftop bar after check in and we also had their in-house hotpot at night which we enjoyed. Prior to departing for our day hike (Glacier lake from Upper Yubeng Village) the next day, the guesthouse even provided hiking poles, crampons, bottled water, Red Bull canned drinks and a homely ham and egg sandwich. We were also allowed to leave our bags stored with them as we had to check out in the late afternoon after returning from the hike. After checkout, the guesthouse also helped to call a vehicle to transport us down to lower Yubeng village. We wished we had stayed here longer throughout our trip to Yubeng. We felt very welcomed and had a memorable stay. Thank you so much!
