The hotel is in Yubeng Alta at the left end of the town, it is the last structure. It is practically inside a construction site, in front there is a warehouse of building materials and wood, to the left they have literally cut through the mountain and there are excavators and Caterpillars that are building another hotel. Whenever it doesn't rain there is a traffic of trucks carrying more material, making a deafening noise from the early hours of the morning until sunset. Bricklayers use hammers adding further noise. The dust that rises reaches the rooms that all overlook the street. The rooms are arranged next to each other, along an external corridor that leads from 201 to the end: this means that to go to your room you will have to pass in front of the others, so if you have the curtains open to enjoy the view from your room, anyone who passes will see the inside of the room...if you are in bed they will see what pajamas you are wearing, there is no privacy! Furthermore, the rooms are separated by a thin panel that will make you hear every word your neighbors say, considering that every morning someone leaves, you don't set the alarm clock! The room is small, it doesn't have any useful shelf for storing your clothes, with a dirty brown carpet that doesn't invite you to walk barefoot and it's so dark - only one dim light on the ceiling - that you can't see yourself in the mirror unless you they open the door and the window curtains! The worst part is the bathroom: there is no toilet but the "Turkish" so you have to crouch on the floor with splashes bouncing everywhere: this is not indicated at the time of booking. A hygienic brush placed on the floor, without a container, contributes to producing sewage every time you use the shower to wash yourself after defecating! The shower takes at least 10 minutes to reach a lukewarm temperature, the first 5 minutes it is freezing, then it becomes cold, finally a trickle of lukewarm water wets you while covered in sweat you are waiting... the best when you come back from a long walk! Furthermore, the bathroom has an opening to the outside closed by pieces of wood, the cold enters while you are waiting for the hot water to arrive! The owners did not provide us with any assistance: the road to Yubeng is blocked due to roadworks so to get to the village you have to walk for over 14 km, uphill with a difference in altitude of 1000 metres, at an altitude of 3000 meters where there is little oxygen, with the backpack on our shoulders (we who are traveling for 2 months in Asia were carrying 12 kg per person) on muddy and slippery paths. This situation is not reported to customers in any way, when I was told by the hotel in Feilai, I called the facility to ask how I could reach them (I am 50 years old, I travel for pleasure not to risk a heart attack) they hung up the phone saying who don't speak English! Having reached Yubeng Bassa with a motorbike and pickup for 1000 yuan, I called them to ask for a taxi at my expense, up to Yubeng Alta... in a small town with 100 inhabitants, they replied that they didn't know who to send!! We did it ourselves in this case too! When we left the same situation occurred because the owner was busy having breakfast... customer care is a must for these people!!! The structure was so dilapidated that I cut my finger because the glass in the room was broken. The chairs outside the rooms all have a broken leg so you have to lean against the wall to avoid falling!! I had read excellent reviews about these people and this structure: lending a walking stick is discounted in all hotels in Yubeng and the view it offers can be found everywhere, so I wonder how they can give these reviews! STAY AWAY FROM THEIR ELEGANT ROOMS WITH SNOW-CAPED MOUNTAIN VIEWS.
