High Mountain Resort – Meili Hotel

The hotel upgraded us to a mountain-view room on the day. You can watch the sunrise over the mountains right from your bed—an absolutely stunning sight. An exceptional location for viewing 梅里雪山.

Very normal hotel in a touristic area. Nice view though. There are better option with better pricing though.

A truly memorable stay! I had an amazing experience at this hotel. Miss Angel was incredibly kind and helpful — she took care of everything I needed, making the entire stay seamless. While it was a little challenging to communicate with other staff members due to the language barrier, Miss Angel made it easy by staying connected with me on WeChat. Every time I reached out, whatever I needed was in my room within minutes. The highlight? The breathtaking view of Meili Snow Mountain right from my bed. The first day was a bit cloudy, but the skies cleared beautifully on the second day — just in time for a perfect sunrise. Truly unforgettable. Highly recommend — 10/10!

You can see that it is an old hotel and can't really compare with other 5 star hotels on many aspects. But it is probably understandable considering the very remote location. Nevertheless, we were extremely satisfied with their service, especially from Ms Angel. Firstly, they gave us a free room upgrade and even decorated our room nicely after knowing that we were on our honeymoon. Angel also contacted us beforehand to make sure everything was ok, she was so friendly and helpful throughout, and when we were leaving, she even went out of her way to make multiple phone calls to make sure our bus seats back to Shangri-la was secured. Would highly recommend for the hospitality alone.

As expected from 5 stars hotel, service was beyond expectations. We got avroom with very good view. Meili Snow mountain was in front of us. We can see the sunrise from our room. Amenitiescwas superb. Both room and toilet are warm. Toiletries were abundance. Hotel staff from reception, room service to breakfast, are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too, with so many choices. I can only praise. No complaints Before check-out, the staff .passed us a bag with 4 bottles of water for our trip. Thank you for your hospitalities.
