Hotel Meera Palace

Breakfast is terrible; they need to improve their breakfast menu. They said breakfast would be ready from 7:30 am, but it wasn't even ready by 8:30 am. It's really frustrating for those who have a 9:00 am flight, and the hotel doesn't even have a clue about the breakfast situation.
Hotel Hariyali Complex

The stay is close to baba dham and has spacious and clean rooms. The rooms are well ventilated too. The staffs are courteous and there is no such restriction sin check in time. People can check in any time, just they have to maintain the 24 hours rule.

Hotel Relax

We had come to Deoghar for some time to relax with family and do a religious retreat. We saw this Hotel Relax while looking for a place to spend 2 nights. We booked 2 rooms 116 and 117. Everything looked OK till here. Night time 2 am suddenly there was no water in washroom. We called reception phone was answered in 10 mins. The guy promised to restart the motor for water supply. Till 3.15 am still no water. I went down to talk to reception there were 2 guys sleeping there and when I woke them up they realised I was upset so at the point this joker went and started the motor. Water cane at 4.15 am. My wife with high BP and sugar suffered and fell sick. It was not the end of ordeal. Our tariff was inclusive of breakfast. I was told it starts at 8am to 10.30am. We went down at 8.25am and saw not a soul in restaurant and kitchen. The restaurant was filthy dirty from last night's party. (Sic). The same joker at reception explained due to rains the chef had not come. At 9.30 the chef who was sleeping in the room turned up in his night clothes. By that time we left in disgust and took breakfast elsewhere. The photos taken of restaurant and kitchen was so pathetic unhygienic and dirty with rubbish all over. Kitchen cooking area filthy. Water leaking from roof. I saw the *** cleaning plates with room towels. He explained its washed and clean towels. Sad indeed. This hotel is a disaster and must be avoided at all cost. My wife remained sick and rested in room and our total holiday was wasted. Mr. Deepak Tiwari at reception was expression less and simply listened to complaints of the ordeal. Photos valid proof shown but no apology and no compensation was given. They charged us full amount for 2 nights. Mr. Mishra the incharge also listened to full details but said sorry and that's it. No compensation despite my asking him to do the least waive off charges. Breakfast included Not given. Ordered tea in evening at 7pm it took 1 hour and 2 reminders before we got tea. The whole property which looks decent from outside but has huge minus points. The floor of my room had rain water leaking and was dangerously slippery. Any elders or senior citizens for children it's a hazard. I am surprised how food and Horeca Till date has let this hotel with restaurant function completely ignoring the serious issues and unhygienic conditions. I am sure some government action will be taken soon. All readers of this article please share it with your groups and ensure no one else is taken for a ride I such shoddy manner.
